I'm currently reading BoxeR's book between my games. It's a really cool story about how he became a progamer. I started reading it when I was frustrated and didn't feel like playing anymore that day, and I got a huge motivation boost and went on to play 10 more games :D:D:D
Here's the english translation I'm reading:

I'm also testing around baneling bombing strategy in ZvP:
Open Spanishiwa Style (no gas, only queens and spinecrawlers and drones) take 4 gas at around 40 food tech to baneling drops with +2 melee ASAP
If I survive until that tech is ready, I make 7 overlords full of banelings and mass lings and infestors. I bomb his 2 expansions with 1 overlord each at the same time. This kills about 20-40 probes total. Then the protoss usually attacks because his economy is blown up. I do my best to win with those 5 baneling-bombing overlords and lings.
The strategy seems really strong, but also quite hard to execute. During the battle I need to very quickly, in that order:
1. attack-move with lings, 2. move overlords in, 3. send infestors to do fungals 4. When overlords are above his army, I click "d" for drop and click on each individual overlord. So its D click D click D click ... that's the most efficient way to drop banes.
Hard to do but it feels sooo0o0o good to blow everything up and see the "gg" immediately
Here's a replay of this strategy working for the first time, against a plat toss:

What do you think about this strategy?

Oh damn, I LOVE that book. Absolutely excellent, and I wouldn't say it was moot in my decision when it came to switching back to terran. He's just really inspirational; anybody who has friends/parents (for the younger ones) who don't understand their passion for eSports should read some select passages.

Lol that signature yea the China stories were ridiculous

Slayers Boxer's autobio should be a must-read for progamers and those who follow esports. The book is hugely inspirational, gives the reader a behind the scene look at BW during its infancy, and gives the reader insight into the icon that is slayers boxer.
As for the overlord drop strategy, my advice would be to make sure you still maintain a standing army or a strong defense. Baneling drops are harass, once the drops take place, all of your banelings are dead, hopefullly all your opponent's workers are dead, but your opponent should still have an army and will likely all in from that point, whereas you would have sacrificed some of your supply and resources researching drop tech. Either way, best of luck in your games!

yea standing army is the weak point of this strategy I can't afford it if Im teching like that, so its hard for me to take a third base. I'm still figuring this out, but perhaps I'll end up doing baneling harass + roaches? Cause lings feel too fragile to do much in a fight...

I might try spine crawlers, since they are relatively cheap, powerful, and can tank a lot of damage. I might also recommend aggressive creep spread, since your opponent's push will be slowed as he spends time to clear the creep. If the baneling drop is successful, the key would be to delay his final push until crawlers and units can be set up/rallied.

You're very right about creepspread. And I'm very wrong about not doing it yet I'll do my best to spread it!

Where can i find the book?
