Wassup Teamliquid! I've been in Korea for the past few weeks watching as much live Broodwar as I possibly can! You might have seen some of my signs. for example, this is me.
I hope u guys are enjoying the shoutouts, I'm planning on going to the OSL again this week so u might see me there! I've been watching Starcraft for a few years or so and now I have finally gotten my wish to see Proleague and Starleague live! It is really fun and to me there is a different feeling to the games. When I watch it irl I get the feeling that all the players are super gosu and try really hard to win but when I watch on the livestream it is easier to not see that and just look at how noob it is to lose your first corsair to scourge or to get all ur queens EMPed, but i feel like u can see when they play that they are trying super hard. Maybe its just watching their gosu apm in the booth hahaha Leta vs Flash was so epic!!! zomg so much screaming at the battlecruisers! gg I'm glad with the outcome of that game, and the whole match although the winning game was just a build order win >.> Anyway, I just wanted to show some support for the foreign Starcraft community and I hope I'm entertaining u guys. PS I just realized that the CJ Entus uniforms are siiiickk and I want one of those shirts, especially cuz the popped collar; it looks legit on Hydra in his OSL pic.

lol you know the MBC broadcasters said "oh an English sign. too much text! I only caught the Broodwar part" and went back to broadcasting the game. Maybe you should try less text next time =P Anyhow, so jelly that you went there to see the epic games last night.

Actually, they were in rush during signs for some reason. My sign's 2nd part (today i wrote everything in korea) got ignored as they only focused on my brother.
I don't blame his long speech; I blame the popularity of the game and the number of signs used today.

Dude, I think I saw you on the 15th of July during the Jinair OSL, I think you were wearing a TL shirt? We were in the back because there were no free seats and I think you were there too. Anyway cheers to you, I loved the OGN e-Sports stadium a lot better then the MBC hero center which looked quite worn down.

I met some Korean guys from Minnesota and they told me what the commentators said -___- It's all good tho, it was for TL and i don't think they would get it hahaha. Yeah that was probably me ^^ I have learned my lesson to go as early as possible to get seats but sometimes I have scheduling conflicts that force me to go later, like skype chats with people at home or classes that end at 6pm >.< But hey, I got the Airwalk backpack with signatures =P I actually have two cuz I went a couple times and made signs. >.> On Weds I might get a 3rd one??? I had to wait until the fan club meeting after the game. They had a Q&A session and then they let people take pictures and chit chat etc. Just be nice and tell them ur a fan from ______ and i think they will be happy to take a picture with you! Just ignore their conversation with fangirls =P I actually asked Flash during the Q&A if he would take a picture with me and the fan club girl in charge told me "later" lolz.
Hmm, last time I met up with someone at CJ, they told me that asking for autographs might cause outrage from fans. Seems like that might be only from CJ Entus, or they were just happy yesterday.

I normally go to UC Santa Barbara and I'm gonna be leaving Korea in a couple weeks cuz the program is ending then. Isn't there any way you join us in Shanghai ? A return flight is only like 400 USD + 70USD visa fee, flight only lasts 1h30 and I can even put you up for a night so you don't have to pay for hotel !

I'm a philosophy major in the class of 2012 so I'm gonna graduate soon! The UCSB Starcraft community has gotten a lot bigger this year (although I haven't been involved too much =/) but I'm sure you can get involved np. Also you should totally apply to study at Yonsei later in your college career, it'll be hella fun and it doesn't cost any extra compared to studying at UCSB. You can even go for a whole year and it's pretty easy to get into the program. gl hf ^^

Aww man! Looks like I can't see you around then. How is the UCSB Starcraft community over there? Pretty big? I imagine that it's mostly SC2 players and not that many BW players though.
I'd like to visit Korea again, but I'm planning to study abroad in Japan instead, haha! It sounds great that you're having fun though, so I hope you continue to enjoy your time in Korea!
