I love Indian women and dated a few in university, they were all from good families and extremely smart and beautiful (very very sexy bodies, long legged and curvy), so my question is, what kind of men are Indian women attracted to, and can you also break it up into the major Indian groups; and on that subject, what are the major India regional groups?
Also, how popular is poker in India, growing not at all, kinda, and why are Indian women so damn hot? I know it's kinda repetitive, but Korean women think that Indian women are extremely beautiful with their big eyes and full lips...^^
btw, excellent thread, learned a lot in just 2 pages; I had a business trip to India once (Goa), but I cancelled it because I didn't want India included in my list of markets that I had to manage at the time.

What's your favourite indian dish and what's the recipe?

I'm Chinese and Chinese food in western countries is completely different from Chinese food in China. Is the same true for Indian food? If so, how much better is Indian food in India than it is outside India?

Indian women are attracted to,money, power and good looks, but you hardly find single men with all 3 since they would probably be engaged to their father's close friend's daughters by the time they reach the age of 5 or something.but the typical man for a woman is someone from a nice family who's mother is a pious lady(lol),Father is a respectable man,and the man is s Sfotware Engineer for X company and makes X money.Women at thier mid twenties are nagged to death by their parents(lol sis) "When will you get married?Should I find a nice boy for you?I know X's son and he is a very nice boy and handsome too."
I could go on about arranged marriage..
North Inidians and South Indians are very different.North indian women have more Beautiful women than south but damn are they stupid.South indian Beautys while although rare to find are damn intelligent and loyal to their men.
Poker isn't really played all that much in India, indian gambling scene is so deep underground.
Korean women must have only seen the ones that appear on TV.

Indian food outside india is bad and overpriced(5$ for a dosa is retarded),but if you have an indian friend then might as well eat the food cooked by his/her mom.

lol holy shit. That's kind of insane. How big was your grade?
Question to the OP: Are there any good Indian fantasy novels/authors you recommend? How robust is the fantasy/science fiction industry in India? Is reading fiction a common pastime for Indian people?

What's your favorite Indian proverb or saying?

Can you explain why there is such a gap between the poor (40% of nation?) and the rich ones in America? Why do so many Indian Americans raise their children to be doctors not to help their nation but raise whitewashed spoiled kids (or at least my peers)?
uh... I don't what the question is...Hows Indian nationalism?

All fantasy novels make use of our great mythology,we don't have great authors who do Fantasy and Sci-Fi novels, but a lot of them have written the Ramayana and Mahabharatha in different styles. Most Indians don't read, and the ones that do,don't read a lot of fiction.
We prefer watching TV.

spoiled immigrant kids?Is that even possible?well its because of money really, doctors get paid more in the US than in India, but recetly though a lot of these doctors have been coming to India.
your other question seems...vague...

Could you give me a short overview of Indian party politics as you see it?
I've heard vague stories that bragging about crimes against Pakistanis was supposed to win local elections there.
|
You mentioned about South Vs North Indians. What is the main culture difference between the two?
|
Does indians consider themselves Asian? Also India is known for "arranged marriages" is that still common in this era?

If someone dared to say shit like that they'd be skewered by the media and the newspapers so bad that their political careers would be a distant dream...

Why do Indians order water with no ice in restaurants? Is it something that they are accustomed to or another reason?

if they're old it's because it probably hurts their teeth, other wise maybe they think they get more water without ice?
|
Ice melted => more water.
It's probably a preference like a lot of Chinese people drink boiled water out of habit.

Well, I can only answer the first question lol. I myself do yoga, (not the extreme stuff lol), just the general breathing exercises and I must say, I haven't had a cold in 3 years. Well, back on the topic of Ayurveda, it even has a body of its own, i,e, AYUSH ( Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) lol
Ayurveda and its branches have also been received well outside in other countries gaining followers. Generally, since India is developing, naturally the medical sector is also developing so modern medicines are also being imported so there is a clash between traditional medicine vs modern medicine. So obviously there are more people which believe more in modern medicine than Ayurveda. Well in India, Ayurveda is generally well received by people who practice it, i.e. mainly older people than young ones because they are being brought up in a modern environment. As India modernizes, so will the people so Ayurveda will be left in the dark There are people who are trying to make it more famous again. And they have a lot of followers currently. Hopefully, what I wrote gave you quite an insight if not the answer you were looking for lol.
I haven't had South Indian food, so I can't say. And I am only 15 so I haven't had masala chai and am not used to spices.
