so I normally play zerg, but after sucking a ton for awhile I decided to switch to terran for a bit just for something new and to see if maybe I was somehow magically amazing at it.
It was pretty fun, mostly because it was something new. But after awhile I realized that I sucked terribly at it :D I have absolutely no ability to keep marines alive vs lurkers, and every tank I ever create early game in tvp is lost to dragoons. I'M PRETTY AMAZING AT TERRAN GUYS.
Then after a bit of that, I decided to switch back to zerg to play a few zvp games and OWNED BITCHES YEAHHH. So after being conflicted with deciding whether or not to actually switch races for good, I've come to the conclusion that I cannot ever give up zerg. ^_^
And I have a newfound respect for people who can make marines not die to lurkers. It was seriously really bad lol. I'd look away for a second and like 2 control groups of them would just explode to 2 lurkers or something ridiculous.
The highlight of my journey into terran playing though was definitely nuking the natural of a protoss before I pushed in to roll him over. :3333

there are micro maps that can help you with your problem. try protoss yet?

I'm also a Z player who recently tried out TvZ to improve my knowledge of the MU.
And I agree it's hard ^^ I find it so damn difficult to keep my mineral count low and microing is a bitch too.
Why isn't every MU as relatively easy as ZvP? :p

Play Mech. I've been playing Terran for 4 years now and I switched to Mech in every MU some months ago. I hate Marines. Mech just makes the MU much easier to play for me, so give it a try I guess. ^^

well i find playing terran and zerg quite easy but i just can get any grasp of protoss match ups..i just get steamrolled everytime...

i find mech much more difficult. first of all the vulture part is quite hard as it requires a lot of micro and then i have a huge pile of minerals.
and for mech imo you need really good macro. because you win by outmacroing your opponent, with MnM however you can harass the zerg with small amounts of units and dont have confront the whole zerg army at once
also mech sucks if you cant secure a 3rd gas easily.

The other day I thought it might be fun to offrace a bit despite never having played another race than Terran. The ease of winning without even knowing proper build order blew my mind.

I used to think the same way about marines vs lurkers, and then i just decided to go sk every game to get more and more experience with marines (well unless the situation absolutely calls for tanks). If you can exercise some early-mid game map control lurkers are not that much of a problem (just dont get caught with them on the other side of your bridges on desti, for ex)

Play terran. With mech they are the new Protoss. Just a-move and macro ok of 2 bases

your so awesome cause you play Terran, you actually have skill huh? compared to those zerg & protoss noobs who don't even know proper build orders but win all the time since their races are so much easier!!

hehe i'm terran and when i offrace ZvT i find hiveplay fucking hard too. Burrowings lurks, consuming stuff, casting dark swarm, scourging vessels....
It's just a very skillful matchup

I suck at terran big times.... but its fun to play Bio TvZ.
But for me its easy to win doing gay things with terran... always works, like:
8 rax vs Zerg
Lift a Factory into zergs main (1 vulture ftw)
2 port wraith (I win against C Zergs doing this and Im a D+ Zerg/D Terran lol)
Or Mech against zergs on maps like Destination (bridges... u have to love them)
And vs Toss:
Dont know its hard to say its easy to play against toss but I think that pushing with 2 facs and building supply/turret outside toss base is autowin lol
PS: Always talking about D/D+ Lvl (im not good at SC)
