The United States was the first country to put a man on the moon. There is much more, but I won't get into it for now. I don't know where you are getting at that you have the greatest cinema since it is impossible to measure.
The United States has had the world's largest economy since 1870, which has also greatly helped. If people in other countries wanted to be businessmen, they learned English. Both the US and Britain have contributed to that point. The cinema is of course subjective.

You forgot the part where you bring democracy to world with bombs.
Anyway, let's see what is unique about Turkey....it's definitely one if not the only place around the zone where you can see a woman in headscarf and one wearing a mini-skirt on the street. (sadly with the way government here works nowadays, I am afraid this might change in the future)

I think he was making a joke.
Someone else said the constitution, English language, etc, so my contribution for the United States is...
Manned Flight

I don't know where you are getting at that you have the greatest cinema since it is impossible to measure. Well, in terms of popularity and ticket sales, US cinema trumps all other cinema, even if you ignore the numbers from the US. No other country really has the global reach that US cinema (and music) does.

Being required to vote sounds like a horrible idea. The people who don't care will just vote for random people or vote without understanding the issue, which is far far worse than not voting in my opinion.

You can thank my country for ESPORTS (and plastic surgery)

new zealand is even less original than US.
Special things about new zealand: -most peaceful country on planet -we invented aeroplane -we fathered nuclear physics, and our country is anti nuclear -first country where women were allowed to vote
We used to be so ahead of the times, but now we are super lazy.
without new zealand there could be no nuclear bomb, which i guess is the most significant thing our country has done.

Because of that, every local media sucks up to the government and avoid criticizing the wrong people in the government (which interestingly, doesn't include the president, who doesn't really have much power compared to other politicians in the background). An english documentary was made to show how brazilian private media lies to change public opinion. But the movie was banned in Brazil after pressure from the main TV company being criticized.

- Is the first country in the planet to use direct electronic voting machines, without software independence, in 100% of the country. This system is inherently fraudulent and makes it impossible to the voter to be sure the person you voted for really had its vote counted correctly. The manufacturer of the brazilian electronic voting machine tried exporting the model, but it was banned in 40+ countries for being unsafe. Including US and several European countries. In Equador, the official brazilian technicians that administer our elections was accused of fraud after trying to sell our machines in equador and had to flee the country to avoid being arrested. Today, only brazil and India use software dependent DRE voting machines. The average brazilian actually thinks the rest of the world envies our awesome electronic voting machines. Because of our biased media.

So thanks our country for fraudulent electronic elections to be crawling around the globe.
Good job summing it up. :D
Yup, that's the main reason I haven't really watched regular tv here since I was like 17+ yrs old (28 atm).

Poland
- 90% of Poles have completed at least secondary education, the highest score in the EU. - Pizza in Poland does not contain tomato sauce. The waiters bring sauce to the table in a pitcher, and you pour it on top - When American movies are dubbed for Polish TV, one man reads all the parts, even those of women and children (a lector). - Some Polish beer is ten per-cent alcohol (and more!) - Poles peel bananas from the blossom end, not from the stem end, at least so does the vast majority. - Poles always carry cut flowers upside down. - Most Poles over 18 years of age consider their name's day more important than their birthday - As per 2007 UNICEF report on child well-being in rich countries, Poland ranks second in the 25 OECD countries surveyed in terms of "behaviors and risks" (healthy lifestyle, lack of violence) and third in terms of educational well-being. - The polish flag hung upside down looks the same as the flags of Indonesia and Monaco! - Poland is the only member of the European Union to have avoided late 2000s recession, meaning that in 2009 Poland created the most GDP growth in the EU

Hmm, let me think... Even though Slovenia is a very small country (around 25,000 square km), but you can ski in the winter and go to the beach in the summer, in places that are 1 or 2 hours away by car. We have a breed of white horses called Lipicanci (Lipica is the town name where they are bread) as well as a few indigenos sorts of wine (a few areas of Croatia and Italy that border Slovenia also make them) that grabbed a few awards internationaly, for example Teran Wine (not to be confused with Terran :D, the emphasis is on a). We are also responsible for the developtment of modern ski flying with Planica, a ski flying hill where skiers flew over 100m and 200m for the first time and held the world record of 239m (784ft) till this year when Norways Vikersund took over with an even bigger hill.
