I think slk xx lp lunge is used in situations where s.lp will whiff (opp isn't very close). Not totally sure at all but I think s.lk extends further out than s.lp. So it's not possible to do s.lp -> s.mp -> special. I guess anytime slk -> lp lunge can be used s.mp -> target combo can probably also work but it's a slightly harder as slk is 3 frame and smp is 4 right?
clk clk clk slk lunge again, is because I think clk clk clk slp will whiff.
Anyone know about stun data and what special does the most stun? (lunge/shoudler/upkicks) Would be useful to know which one to go for if we feel the opp is close to stun, since Yun has suchhhh damaging combos after stun (EX palm -> shoulder -> lunge or palm -> launcher -> ultra/EX upkicks in corner).
ill post the stun numbers tomorrow, i can check in training mode cuz i'll be grinding some execution stuff anyway
also why would you do c.lk x3 s.lp -_- if you do c.lk c.lp s.lp, the s.mp xx rh upkicks will never ever ever ever miss, ever. and s.mp reaches farther than any of your light attacks, so even though it's a frame slower (4 frames is still really fucking fast, u sure that's accurate?) it should definitely be the move you punish with, either into target combo or a special. definitely better than s.lk xx lp lunge
It's used for those situations where they're blocking and you're going into a blockstring, but you catch them standing or doing something on the 3rd lk. If you don't catch anything then you might do
clk clk clk cmk smk (I think the clk and cmk acts as a frame trap as it isn't a combo)
Also: what blockstrings continue to put pressure on the opponent? I tend to use c.lk c.lk s.lp s.mp lp shoulder as my standard blockstring, but despite the good meter gain it pushes me away, forcing me to get in again. Will try things like c.lp c.lk s.lp s.mp -> lp palm / mp palm - anything else?
Seems like the proper way to play Yun is to get close, get these blockstrings, palm for meter, and then focus on getting maximum (Genei-Jin) when you actually do hit.

might be a good footsie tool though, i'm not too familiar with the hitbox on yun's s.lk (yang's is fucking good), but buffering lp lunge into it and hanging out where they're just outside the range of your kick is probably pretty strong. it depends on the hitbox of his s.lk, if it reaches far and is hard to whiff punish like yang's you can probably fuck some people up. negative edge can be a bitch when you're trying to buffer specials into 3 frame light attacks though lolol
edit: shit, you're right Lucumo!!!! fixed
and the truth is out (as if it wasn't obv. enough)
new cammy links are pretty kewl btw.
edit: i've seen s.LK lunge punch as a bait punish by daigo over at revelations. i don't remember what he did b4 it, but i def. remember seeing it. lemme go and find
at about 4:40, after a blocked j. shoulder, he punishes the baited ibuki c.mk with s.LK. seems pretty good hanging outside of footsies range and buffering it to catch a limb.
Has anyone ever played a fighting game on pc? What's it like? Are there any informations about the PC port for ss4ea?
I really enjoy watching those YT videos and I kinda want to get into fighting games but I'm afraid that lag or something will ruin it for me.
Do you connect to console gamers or are you forced to play only against those who have the pc version? Also how big of an issue is lag? I imagine that every ms matters for blocks etc. so how does lag affect your gameplay?

As far as SF4 goes, there's an outdated version on the PC, but no one plays it. You should go hit up GGPO.net, and download 3rd strike, it's set to re-release for the xbox / ps3 soon, so get to practicing.

Isn't the Arcade Edition of SF4 coming out on july? And is there a reason why the PC version of SF4 isn't as popular as the xbox / ps3 version? And is this also likely to happen to SF4AE? I assume cross platform gaming (xbox vs pc) isn't supported than?

Yes, Yes (you can't play with keyboard and not many people have decent controllers), Yes, No
I don't get why people are choosing to do c.lp c.lk s.lp as opposed to c.lk c.lp s.lp. c.lk hits low while c.lp does not. The only time to start with c.lp is after a blocked ex lunge or something to counterhit the opponent mashing jab or cr.tech.
Ending with rh upkicks against everyone is not a good idea since it will whiff on some people, most notably it will whiff on shotos after that string.

There's plenty of people still playing, me included. Depending on your system PCs have less input delay than consoles, lag is the same as consoles.

shoulder: 200 stun, EX 250 stun lunge punch: 150 stun, EX 200 stun upkicks: lk & mk 150 stun, rh & EX 200 stun palm: 250 stun, EX 300 stun
your best stun punishes are s.mp xx lp shoulder (300) or s.mp xx EX shoulder (350). all other options do less stun, or need a meter to break 300, in which case EX shoulder wins anyway. if you're in range for c.mp, then c.mp s.mp xx EX shoulder does 400 stun
