And at the end MMA wins 4-0!

Show nested quote + I had a great analogy where Boxer is Don Corleone, Fantasy is Sonny, MMA is Michael, and iloveoov is Tom Hagen. Then I realized the cross section of people who watched early 2000's pro BW AND The Godfather is surprisingly small. Great analogy, but who would be analogous to Fredo? Midas?

You might have beaten MarineKing, but can you beat MarineKing and Polt as one? Hardly the strongest argument considering that MMA is in by and far the most preparation-oriented team with the strongest organization and leadership in Starcraft 2. =) On a more general note, I'm really scared for MMA, much more so than if he were facing mvp or NesTea. Those would be glamorous finals, with a lot of hype, a lot easier mentally for MMA. Instead he plays in the finals where the fans worldwide all have their eyes on him and want - expect - him to win. It would be such a huge momentum break if he lost now. I feel horrible even thinking about it.

It pretty much said what everyone is thinking: Polt has been the underdog and has fewer fans than most; however, it took that concept and made it into much more than most could. People are so odd too. Polt is just so freaking solid. How can people not love how he is just a rock. He doesn't try be fancy and flop on himself. He just goes with the "I'll play my solid game without making mistakes and if you make a mistake I'll be there". It's lovely to see a solid player. In a way you can look at a guy like Nada and see a similar trait.

A guy who looks like he gets behind on purpose just to rub a win in your face after he comes back from 50+ food deficit. A guy who drops even with mutalisk out and still gets shit done.

How do you consider MMA to be "godawful" when it comes to name recognition? MMA is the hero of the GSTL and just won MLG for fuck's sake. Polt has also been around for quite a while as well.

Hey I'm not trying to say who will win. Just saying how silly people are to just care about flashy names and flashy strats instead of some solid shit. Seems being a big name is more important than playing like a boss! Although MMA does both oO

Flash's record over the past 9 and 1/2 months=75 and 23. Tail end of his last OSL win and including his MSL win just last week.
