IdrA had a history of gging to many respectable players even when the games weren't that good, but would ragequit against someone like Minigun who would beat him in a "regular" game. And obviously Boxer is a very respectable player. Yeah I suppose. I know he generally GG'd in his GSL days and also usually does so in NASL. I just mean that no form of BM surprises me if it comes from IdrA. I wasn't shocked; I wasn't even remotely surprised to be honest. I really enjoy watching the guy play but he could have made a cutting remark about BoxeR's mother and I wouldn't have batted an eyelash.

Thankfully SC2 is not like this. they're required to shake hands? in what sport? :/ other than customary ones (team lining up in a line to shake hand).

And the worst thing is, that he's been doing it for months. Back in 2010 when he was streaming between his GSL performances it was the same story all the time: opponent has a strong army. IdrA waits a bit, and then throws himself at the opponent who just crushes him. He has so much to learn from other Zergs like LosirA, DRG and NesTea, namely how to counter-attack and abuse your opponent's weaknesses instead of trying to break him where he's strongest.

You can consider it a rage quit, sure, but come on, you guys are way too touchy about what is BM and what isn't. It's not like he said "FK YOU, CHEESER NOOB!!" or something. You also dont say good morning or good evenening when its not good for you? Its sport (esport) etiquette.

Especially in a game where you seldom see your opponent. But I guess it's a matter of personal taste. In sc:bw I always gged, in sc2 I never bother, unless I know the player, because it seems far more impersonal. On topic: how the fk did boxer survive that infestor play?! G.G. The emperor is still the emperor. Respect. I guess it's a matter of personal taste, but once again, I don't think that it should be that different because you don't see your opponent. To me, it's a little like blowing off the end-of-match handshake, but obviously not as huge of a deal considering the current atmosphere of Starcraft 2 and eSports in general. Even though it's not a big deal, I still think it's slightly distasteful to not do so.
