Hey folks. I'm sitting here at baggage claim 7 with drewbie and CatZ, waiting for some more cool people to arrive, in addition to the awesome Korean posse that will be coming through in a couple of hours.
So far the day's been all about flights, but I'm getting VERY EXCITED for tonight, tomorrow, and onward. This morning I did basically all of my packing and got to the Charleston airport around 8. Waited around a couple hours for my flight to Atlanta, got a window seat with nobody next to me, quick and easy.
Got to my gate at Atlanta, ready to go to Columbus, and looked around at my fellow passengers. I was hoping to see some gosus there, but all I saw were a bunch of sweaty people and a few cute girls. Maybe 5 minutes before boarding started, I spotted VT.Spades going up to the desk to get a seat change, so I went and chatted with him for a bit about SC2 stuff. He stayed up all night last night practicing and watching replays. Last MLG he lost to HuK for a chance at the pool play groups, and he doesn't want to get blocked like that again.
After boarding started, who would roll up next to us but CatZ, drewbie, TT1, and Fenix. All of my buddies from the Root house had the same flight as me! Unfortunately we all had different seats, but I was glad to see them and do some catching up. In Columbus, Spades was met by Mirhi and Exia from VT management and they whisked him away to the hotel. TT1 and Fenix went with them in search of food, so it's just me and the Root boys for now. We're waiting for Alex Conn aka SunDevil aka Alex.IGN and then after he gets here the Koreans are going to show up!
We found out AFTER we left the security area that they're going to actually come in through the same gate that we came to. We could have been the first ones to welcome them! Oh well. I'll let you know what happens later after we greet the Koreans! Woo!
Hey I dont really know any of you , but I live in downtown columbus - if you guys wanna go to some local bars, have a bit of a smoke on me, or wanna try and get some lan in at my place shoot me a PM!
Yay \o/, I was wondering when the live coverage was gonna start. The other times I really enjoyed watching your video's. Also from other people, but the journey "vlogs" are so cool. For those who are at home, and don't get to endulge in the experience. And the stream can only provide so much. The insight and fun behind the scenes feeling these provide are amazing and I love watching them. Thanks a lot and I'll be staying frosty for new video's
Oh God... I gave CatZ one of my cameras to help cover the arrival of the Koreans... Hotel Internet is slow as balls but hopefully I can toss up two or three videos here before there's more stuff that needs filming.
