As a totally unrelated note, if anyone sees this in time you should join in this local Portland study. Free $$$ for gaming! This week only (Wed and Thurs) "====================================== Get paid $100 for playing Call of Duty: Black Ops - Portland Thug Interactive (http://www.thuginteractive.com/) is a user research and design consulting firm located in Portland, OR. We are looking to recruit Call of Duty: Black Ops players to participate in a user research study. Participation will consist of playing Call of Duty: Black Ops for just under 1 hr, and all study participants will be compensated $100. In order to participate you will need to meet the following requirements: 1. You must have played a total of 50 hours or more, and preferably you have played within the last month 2. You must have played within a competitive environment (tournaments preferred but other scenarios may qualify) 3. You must be able to come to the Thug Interactive office located in the northwest downtown area of Portland, OR on either Wed, June 1st or Thursday, June 2nd between the hours of 9am and 6pm. There will be a total of 15 one-hour time slots within these two days to choose from. I can understand that you may be skeptical about this offer but I can assure you that it is legitimate. All participants will be using our PCs so there's no risk of viruses, key logging, etc. In this particular study we are testing different wireless display latency levels to determine both the noticeable and acceptable latency levels for the experienced gamer. If you interested, please send an e-mail to gamestudy@thuginteractive.com with the subject line "Call of Duty study participant" that includes your name, phone number and a short summary of how you meet the study qualifications listed. ========================================"

Nonetheless, just trying to point it out to local folks. $100 is no joke for an hour of playing video games. I'll delete the post on Thursday. It's not my study- just looking to hook some folks up

It bumped our thread and I have some friends who would love to try and participate so I can fwd them this thread. wasn't trying to be an ass. but i've seen a bunch of accounts that posted this and got banned and they keep reposting it. and TL is a SC forum.
