So that "elephant in the room" article on the front page is amazing!
Besides some custom games and losing horribly on the first single player mission in BW, I have zero RTS experience. I love SC2 though, and already am in high Diamond. I really want to know the 'roots' of SC2, and I hear a lot of hype about how awesome some of these players are. I have no idea who or what race Flash, Jaedong, bisu even play, I've just heard their names tossed around as 'epic'.
So I was wondering if anyone could link me or tell me where to watch the most epic SC:BW games that are recent - yea this thread has been done before, but they are outdated, old, and a bit different (ie usually a different audience). Just wanted to see a good game that someone who has played the game and could follow what was going on, would enjoy, that has some legend from today, not some old game where they do silly micro mistakes no one would make today. I don't know who the best player right now, but I would like to see a game of THEM vs someone in a close game that's awesome (they don't have to win ofc).
Given that he's new to BW, commentary might be helpful.
I'd recommend
Good game from both players, with decent commentary, that really illustrates modern TvZ well. Keep an eye on the channel, games 2 and 3 of this series were amazing, and I expect there to be commentaries out soon.
I would have to go with this one because it fit the theme S2 of the GSL so well. It was executed very well and was not done every single TvZ. In all honesty there is so many that it is hard to come up with a solid top5.

immediately it seems crazy its not some all-in that decides the game and that there's so many skirmishes
If you want to see a decent example of that check out
It's a TvT, so it's pretty long, but there's almost constant action. Also, commentated by the man who i feel is the best active commentator, though since he mainly does OSL he's been quiet lately.
You should try watching a live game, join the chat.
It's a different experience than watching VODs. I guess you could start with MSL Ro8 when it comes on next, I find PL boring unless it's a big match like SKT vs KT or unless it's a key match. But I do like WL...
