I am going to vote for Kurumi for now based on his posting which seems rather scum-like to me (apart from his last post which was the only half-decent one). It is placeholder vote for now as there can be future developments in this thread and also I am still willing to give him benefit of doubt provided he explains his style/content of posts. The list of suspicious people imo: Irish_Punk13 - I am not too strongly sold on chaoser's theory of him strongly reacting to accusation. However, his defense of Kurumi seems suspicious to me. AirBladeOrange - I probably won't go as far as to paint him scum but he is someone I will keep an eye on. redtooth - He came up strong in the start of thread, posted guides for new folks, made baseless accusations to start voting, but went MIA since then. It seems like he wanted to boost his pro-town cred early. I would like hear his viewpoint on the rest of the thread. If he stays lurking like this, he comes out suspicious to me. If you think Node put together a scum team of all noobs you need to rethink who you are pushing. GGQ where are you? The current list is not necessarily the entirety of the scum lists. Obviously, it is more likely for new scum players to slip up or drop hints of being scum than the vets. Thus, the lists posted till now do not exclude the possibility than someone such as you, chaoser, redtooth, or kitaman are not scum. The current lists merely represent the fact that none of the them (if they are mafia) have slipped up clearly till now.

You're essentially saying that its good not to say anything that could possibly make people (either mafia or town) look at you. You realize that the only way to find mafia is to do analysis, and that in doing analysis you're going to bring attention to yourself. I don't understand how you can make this comment and expect it to be a good explanation for your posting habits. This is insane I think this is a really good point. Jaminz, you are playing differently than last game but I think it's a good different. I believe Chaoser to be town, he is doing a great job of encouraging discussion and taking stands and demanding responses. This is very important for town as I learned last game. Be bold and make the mafia scared. It's okay for town to die as long as they mafia leave clues behind. Clues are much easier to decipher later in the game when you figure out who they are voting for and pressuring and who they bandwagon against. I'm still voting for Kurumi. His type of posting just does not seem pro town. We need to stay on task, clear up and back up what we say, and stay focused on killing people who are likely mafia. If he flips red, I am inclined to take out Irish guy next because they seem like a pair. I think it was Chaoser that even pointed out the times they posted were within minutes of each other. And as always, if anyone wants me to clarify anything I said or wants my opinion on something please ask.

Still pretty bad at this game. To be honest I really don't have any opinions on anyone atm. I still think there's too many lurkers. The only playstyle I'm somewhat familiar with is Phoenix's since we were scumbuddies in newbie mafia, but he's not posting. Come out, phoenix! Too many lurkers? That's funny, because you've only posted three times since the game started. You refuse to form, create, and state your own analysis. Instead, you're lurking in the shadows watching everyone quarl. Kind of hypocritical, is it not? On May 05 2011 11:15 Conversion wrote: jeez jackal and the chtzihfia whatever dude bloated the page count up. look jackal tunnels people. stop bitching about him tunneling if you don't know his playstyle. it makes you seem really scummy when you spam up the thread with silly ego arguments. And you know Jackal's playstyle? Because in your last post you claim to only be somewhat familiar with Pheonix's. You also say you're still bad at this game. So you must be a newbie, no? If you've played 2 games and you're still a noob, how do you expect me to know how Jackal's playstyle is if this is the first time I've played mafia? And why are you so quick to come to his defense?

and I'm not defending anyone. it seems like you need a reality check or something. I don't want any spam and you're just arguing someone who tunnels a lot, but okay. keep playing the newbie card like I did in my first game, see where it gets you. and keep pointing fingers, I heard that isn't suspicious at all!

I'm new, this is my third game. Have I used it as an excuse? No. Excuses aren't helpful. I'm trying to help town the best that I can. My posts get disregarded as soon as I say "Hey I'm new don't listen to me." That's why i don't say it. Playing the newbie card isn't necessary. It's just going to hurt your argument.
