I just thought I should get this out of the way.
I like the GSL, and I watch the replay matches on GOMtv since a week ago, I think. What I am not entirely fond of is the quality of the stream.
And by quality, I do not refer to the resolution. I know that if I want to watch the matches live on proper resolutions, I need to buy a season ticket. Besides, I imagined that if I watch the stream on minimum resolution, at least the stream itself will be consistent.
Sadly, I was wrong. The streams are constantly lagging to the point where it truly becomes unwatchable. I checked my router to see if anyone else is using the internet and usually my cousin is out for work.
To be fair, my internet is not extremely fast, but if I can watch NASL and IPL streams at better quality with less to no lag whatsoever, why not GOMtv?
Some serious work needs to be done with their streams if you ask me. But what do you guys think?

NASL(the few times I watched) is way more laggy then GSL here, I have zero lag at all there..

do the latency check on the gom site? might very well be you and not gomtv thats to blame. i only had some smaller problems with the gom stream, much more trouble with nasl though..

I haven't had any bad experiences with GOM and GSL so far. And I sit behind a 2k bandwidth. That is like ~250kb/s MAX. But even though I am able to watch the 900kbit stream without problems. It only consumes about 112.5kb/s downstream of your internet. Literally every country on the northern hemisphere is able to achieve a bandwidth of 1mbit.
So it's most likely a problem on your end of the connection.

i have no problems with any stream, with the exception of some NASL ones earlier on. everything works fine now.

NASL lags for me often.
GSL never lags for me.
IPL lags for me every now and then.
It's different for everyone and it's probably something to do with your internet and location.

NASL. lagged in the beginning. now its fine.

Actually gomtv is the least laggy stream for me. All the justin.tv streams like nasl, ipl, and player streams can sometimes spiral into slowmotion even on lowest resolution which forces me to reload the page. Gomtv will sometimes lag stagger for 1 sec every 15 minutes, so its barely noticeable.
