when you're logged on, website name should be uni 110, and your tab should say "jupiter"

The Info for Firefox setup is as followed
Go to Tools->Addons->Extension tab and select option for Gtools
Go to the second tab in the Option

Yeah, game starts off slowly, will speed up once you get espionage probes and small cargo. Feel free to ask us any questions in irc or just here.

Just warned a guy that I'm spending my minerals, and waited 15 minutes to see what he did. He's not turning back, so I'm dedicating this cash to defenses because my fleetsave is still 8 hours away from coming home.
I went to the speedsim calculator and thought about what this guy might have. I have one rocket launcher (would have been 7, but a past unlucky CR told me none were repaired ) and four light lasers that will be done making by the time he arrives.
I just hope he doesn't bring 5 LFs and 3 HFs, cause I'll be annihilated.
EDIT: What if these guys actually come to this thread to read intel?! Oh, no!

On a serious note, do enemy fleets target defense first or do they target your ships first?
I think I could have handled this attack if my fleet was back at home, but only if enemy fleets target defenses first.. If I have about 10 Rocket Launchers and 5 Light Lasers, I won't need to fleetsave.

Yeah, he brought 13 ships and obliterated my turrets. At least none of my light lasers got taken down! And I'll be sure to call on you next time, I really thought he would turn around, though.

As for ranking i was thinking about 10 ranks And they go up by points or proportional to ranks. These would be the basic ranks anyone person can go for. And then a few other ranks to point out the leaders/helpful people in the alliance.
I like the idea of having a lot of ranks that everybody could achieve. I believe this would be fun and motivational for all members. As far as " leaders/helpful people" are concerned, I'd suggest that they also get the normal rank everybody else gets, but in addition also get an appendix or a foreword to their rank: Let's say that the highest ranked members would get the rank Commander, then if the leader is among them, he would be Master-Commander or Commander-Executor. An example for a lower ranked member would be Sergeant, and a helpful lower ranked player would be something like Sergeant-Instructor or w.e. Of course, we don't have to use starcraft ranks (although I like them), however we'd need somebody to think off cool ranks.

Definitely wanting to go along with the protoss ranks for names if it comes to that. I mean, would you rather see "cerebrate" and "overlord" or "executor" "judicator" and "templar"?
Maybe this is just my inner nerd acting up.
So im doing a raid right now where the guy should have ~9k metal 6.5k crystal and 1k deut by the time I hit, with zero defence. I'm sending two waves, because I only have 2 sc's, but I don't think it actually makes a difference in this situation. Am I right in my intuition that it does get better to send waves when I have more storage capacity? Or am I just over-microing my shit?

It actually does matter in this case as you can only raid half of what's only a person's planet. In this case, I believe you would get slightly more sending 2 waves, though at the cost of using 2 fleetslots.
As for all rank suggestions, remember we have a total of 20 rank slots to worth with only.

amg this brings back memories, this used to played by everyone in my 6th form back in the day (like 3/4 years ago) including the jocks!!! (In fact they were the worse setting alrams at like 4am for sending fleets) and stuff.
