No point on getting tickling units that only delay the roaches instead of actual DPS units. Uhm splitting an army when one half is down the ramp is imho one of the best things he could do. Hydras can't burrowmove and that was the dps at the first breakthrough (and also what finished his stalkers). And about being too gas intensive, how about not opening air... Yea but remaking sentries is hard as it cost a lot of gas its why its important to keep them alive or to kill them depending on your perspective.

Yeah why build something when it has a counter...
Perhaps he shouldn't build roaches because of Immortals, or Hydras because of Collosus...
This is an RTS, not a research paper. It's about playing the game, not on-file counters.

He still couldn't afford getting more sentries and colossus though. Morrow taking his third out killed his gas income

Morrow just played really well that game, he switched his composition so Hasu couldn't stick with sentries because the roaches were just burrowing under them, then he needed more combat oriented units because the sentries weren't cutting it, then Morrow pumped a huge number of Hydras for the next attack and HasuObs just didn't have the resources to jump between the units, when he went for utility, Morrow took advantage of roaches, then took Hydras in once Hasu had the units required to deal with the roaches.
Basically, Morrow cornered him perfectly, Hasu was in a very bad position by the end of the game.

How are you going to say morrow played brilliantly on shakuras? Unless he somehow forced hasu's camera away from the main area where his army was for an extended period of time, he was extreamly lucky. 1 Forcefield cutting that army in half and keeping the hydra's at the top means he would be annihalated losing almost his entire roach army for maybe some stalkers and cannons. Hasu ended up playing it poorly, not using his incrediable position to his advantage.

Hasuobs has a probe not mining, following another probe instead.

I hate to sound like a downer, but I just haven't been impressed with Morrow's play this series. That said, I'm still rooting for him and picked him for liquibet.
Hopefully he will wow me in this final match.

Or at least a lot of people complained about it. It's also pretty imbalanced in pvz. Morrow did incredibly well to win in that position, I could never make that attack work. Yeah, pushing through that narrow choke from T or P was almost impossible for Z to break. That's why this version disables horizontal spawns. Which is why it's so shocking that Morrow broke HasuObs's third, there; it "shouldn't have worked". I suspect even Morrow knew it was a really risky play, but sometimes you need to roll the dice and take your chances.
Again, Hasuobs had TWO colossus.
terrans don't hold that ramp with two tanks, they have 4-8.
Hasuobs was on like 1 robo with 6 gases..? Didn't see, but the reason those chokes are good is because of siege units (colossus/tank/broodlord). Only have 2 siege units still means you can lose.

Super early lair, this could get very exciting very fast.

If he opens with Stargate followed by robo, HasuObs will die to this drop.

It's tough to 14hatch against a toss who forge/expo for obvious reasons ;o

Yes, they are casted from replays with only a tournament ref as spec.

They're also less good against a toss that opens with airplay because he just makes phoenix.
