I cannot enjoy a game knowing that it isn't completely fair for both players, or that they can't play their best. For everyone saying Boxer played "boring," it looks to me like he was playing macro only on purpose because the lag killed his confidence in microing, and that makes me not even want to watch the game

Yeah seriously, didn't really expect that kind of attitude from the korean audience, granted these comments doesn't represent the entire korean audience, but still.

To be fair I've seen about as bad comments in gsl threads here on TL throughout the seasons. Just don't let them bother you. (People are basically the same everywhere)

Mutas are fine, but banelings just die to proper marine micro. I often regret my decision to buy a US copy. I have zero lag/delay on NA from EU. Same for all my friends :o

I don't think the Korean comments are too harsh, they're mostly complaining about lag (they got a point) bashing Boxer's and Fuitdealer's play (again, got a point) and saying Nightend played badly (again, I personally agree). I read harsher comments in the LR threads every single day of GSL, both Code S and definitely Code A.

Let's stop pretending some trolls on a message board represent the Korean netizens.

First, QQ 2/4 on bracket prediction. Didn't think Fruitdealer would fall in the first round and even more shocked Boxer didn't. Having said that the Boxer vs. Nightend games were pretty darn awful. All three games turned into maxed army slugfests with very little to distinguish the players' actual skill. That said game 2 I really feel like Boxer could've *easily* won the game with the marauders in the beginning if he just targeted the stalkers. I was in so much shock when kept letting his marauders get picked away. The best match was Fenix vs. Sen, really liked both players style, only wish that Fenix had of controlled his tanks better because those battles tended to be more one-sided than they would've been otherwise IMO. Looking forward to day 2, but not as epic a start to the TSL3 as I had wished.

This, the Koreans don't bash on the foreing community they bash on all the games that have been played. Especially Fruitdealer and Boxer, where do all of you read anything related to "Koreans > Foreigners"? Yes they talk down onto the level of play of the foreigners, but even more so do they critizise the performance of Fruitdealer and Boxer. Although I don't agree in general, the games of Boxer vs Nightend were in fact boring.

It was to be expected to be fair I'm kind of disappointed the first 3 korean/chinese invites in this tournament are also the worst ones. But at least MC and Jinro will be tonight and we'll see some incredible Korean play!

And while I think it's justified to critizise players for making mistakes, this shouldn't be done implying that so many others could do so much better.
