"Days: 23.71" (watching things with subs)
I am used to watching subs -.-) I'm in the 4th year of my English degree... I cannot read them without pausing many times. In those 23ish days I never had to pause once for dialogue, and they're pretty much all amateur-we-work-for-free subbers.
I don't think I'm just stupid :o
PS: To clarify, I'm not saying it isn't hard work or it isn't a hard problem to overcome. If it really is the case that this show's dialogue just makes it really hard to get everything, I apologise for making an issue of it. The show is probably quite a bit more chaotic with its dialogue than what I am used to watching.

Thanks for the subs
After watching the first episode, i still think Hyungjoon becomes a progamer is much better show (in terms of quality of the content, not the subs) is it just me?

man I had this dream last night that like 9 episodes were released all at once, fully subbed. Then I tried despratly to delete some comment I made about subs comming out slowely and I couldnt find it in time and ended up being banned from tl.

can we remove the thing about the fortnight in the OP? i think it's confusing a lot of new people

It had the whole MBCGame HERO team for one thing. Season 2 only has Kong. But it was always a tough act to follow. Season 1's peak ratings was the highest ever in Korea for a non-live esports programme.

Maybe they should just send Hyungjoon to every Starcraft legends out there and spike a reaction.
I know I would watch that.
Oh, and Hyungjoon must bring chicken.
Some sort of show like "Hyungjoon teaching everybody to dance!"

Looking at it again, you are totally right, the subs go too fast in some places. I only had time to do a single pass of timing, and didn't go back to make sure I hadn't been cutting it too short.
If I end up working on a future release I'll probably do something to differentiate speakers visually so the subs can stay up significantly longer. Thanks. I know it is a pain in the butt to time things, and it takes a few goes to get right. Stacking what people are saying on top of one another is an option, but I don't think it is totally necessary. There are enough places where there are no subs on the screen that you can simply leave the text up in. If you are still short on time, perhaps the translation needs to be a little more concise. Still, I think you will be just fine if you use up the time where there is no text on the screen right now. I am not a fansubber myself, but perhaps it would be fruitful to ask for some pointers from well established fansubbers (I suppose, just look around the anime community). Good luck :O I hope your internal problems get worked out and you can develop a well-coordinated team.
Actually, the reason I was doing timing is because I've done timing for anime subbing before. edit: to clarify, timing anime and timing a show like this is very different (to me that is). The speed and style of speech is completely different.
Its interesting to see different people's opinions on this. I know that I read subs very fast, and I honestly can't think of the last time I had to pause anything to read the subs (unless it was a sign up for a frame or two)
But it is pretty clear that there is a sizable set of people who are having issues with the sub speeds. It is a general opinion (in the anime subbing community) that stacking subs is really really nasty, and should be avoided at almost any cost. This seems to be a contentious point here, but I think it bothers more people than not.
So without stacking, there are still going to be sections in a show like this that have subs go by really fast. Maybe the best option is to color-code speakers, and do stacking only in extreme cases?

LOL yeah! the coach said to keep distance from HJ or something...man that must suck LMAO! HJ got all excited and everything xD

Well, yeah. These subs are alot slower than than most fansubbed anime. For example Bakemonogatari, which is an incredible series.
If you want to learn how to read faster I recommed books rather than movies though. Make a habit of reading for an hour or so before you go to bed and you'll improve surprisingly quickly.
