The Jinro side has MC, Jinro, Nestea (if he wins his group) and the winner of the Fruitdealer/ Tester/ NsPGenius group. Imagine if Nestea and Tester wins their group and MKP somehow gets 2nd in his group. That leads to MC, Jinro, Nestea, Tester and MKP all being on one half of the bracket and I could honestly see any of them winning the whole thing.

I'm not saying Top is bad at all, but from just a spectator's point of view, just from the gsl vods we have repeatedly seen him fully queueing up his buildings and then have artosis say something like, "OMG how does Top keep losing battles but have a good army later." Spectators are just going to think, duh all his money is queued up and he's an overrated macro player. Again I'm sure he's great and that in times of pressure he isn't playing to his potential but as people who just watch gsl and don't actually play with him, he does seem a bit overrated.

Since he was gauranteed to go to the next round he decided to be cool instead of to be "efficient" kind of like the trope of the lottery winner quitting his job. He gains more fans and does not hurt his paycheck; it was the best choice for him. The check thing is just a bonus.

Getting the nr 1 placement would give him a most likely easier ro16 match (due to the fact that ull be facing the nr 2 from his grp in ro16).

I don't feel NaDa was really having trouble personally. Yeah, he traded armies a couple times, but he didn't need vikings at that point because he could rely on marines based on the fact that HongUn went stargate and relatively fast mothership, he had no robo tech so sticking MMM with no vikings is enough to crush through. The only thing that kept HongUn alive so long was the ton of sentries he had.

He'll probably have to beat at least 1 of those to just get to the finals (likely against another one of them). He's so lucky that his only obstacles are MKP, Nestea and MC

I don't even think he played poorly today, just not his best. Top has been at the top (lolololpun) for a while, he has just been undergoing a series of unfortunate events. He played so well in the Code A finals.

He wanted to lose, if he got #1 placement he would have to team kill check.Prime.WE so you can see why he lost on purpose. oGsNaDa also wants to win so he doesn't teamkill LiquidJinro. So they both avoided teamkills this way.
