god damn clocks think they are so good... stop being so f-ing pretentious clocks, stop pretending to be double of what you really are.

This is why I love digital clocks, no bullshit.

So does this mean there is a big announcement coming tonight?
Is the time incoming?

Holy shit, mind blown. Quite possibly the best idea I have ever heard.

Only Tyler come come up with something this genius! This is his annoucemnet?!

This concept is actually brilliant, but America likes its inches so it likes its 24 hours in a day!

But if you changed an hour to contain 120 minutes you couldn't make your minutes consist of 120 seconds without changing the definiton of the second (to half of what it currently is). There then you'd have some inconsistency, 60 seconds in a minute but at the same time 120 minutes in an hour? That would be weird. And you'd have to make everybody on Earth do the change at the same time or else people are not going to be able to know what seconds are as they'll each have a different idea of a second.

some how, somewhere a mathematician just died

So is this the announcement you were alluding to?

Although I do have to point out that although it seems like things divisible by 10 are more convenient, the reason the imperial system uses a lot of 12s and 24s is that they are divisible by many numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 6).
Do you know why it's called the imperial system, by the way? Because it was invented by THE BRITISH EMPIRE YOU SLAGS. Hope you feel real superior now; faced with a choice of acknowledging the culture that spawned your own, or bowing down to the hated European metric system.

The chillness factor in this blog is through the roof.
