I was originally going to post this in SC2 strategy, but I don't know if it warrants its own thread.
I watched the Idra vs. MVP game, recently casted by Artosis, and at one point Idra had 100 minerals and 1.7k gas due to harassment and him having to rebuild army units. However, he never moved his gas drones over to his minerals despite clearly needing minerals at the moment. Is there a reason why people don't do this aside from just forgetting?
There also don't seem to be many build openings that take this into account. The one everyone knows is the 100 gas for quick speed zergling upgrade, and then you can take drones off gas if that's what you need for your build. I remember watching a match with Kiwikaki, and he opened with gas before gateway and got enough gas for warp gate tech, a Robotics Facility, and +1 weapons upgrade, and then he switched those probes back to minerals. Aside from that, most openings don't take into consideration switching drones from gas to minerals and back. Are these things tested and considered not to be worth it, or is it something that most players don't look into? It seems great for getting an upgrade for an early timing push (maybe early pressure 2-rax Marines with stim or combat shields vs Zerg) or getting specific unit compositions (a couple of early sentries)?

Are you tired of me owning you on the ladder late at night? :p (that goes if your nickname is the same ingame, which seems probable)
From what I know there is no chance to change realms unless you buy a new copy of SC2 from the region you want to be playing in.
There is, however, the exception of people playing on the SEA server - they can also connect to the NA server if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah we can, it's because we have so few people and such a small community we can't get a good number of good players. (make that so few people with computers that are able to buy Sc2)

I noticed in Idra's game vs MVP he was green, but on the game loading screen it showed him as red, and MVP blue, except MVP was the one who was red in-game. It was quite odd :o
I assume there's some way to mess with the default colors? If you do shift+tab it will change your color to teal and your enemy's color to red I believe (same as SC1 I think). It should be a one time thing and should save the setting for all future games. Just be aware in team games that your allies are always yellow and all enemies are red. Just a little side note about the theory of it: the theory is that because your enemy is red (bright color) that you will be able to react quicker to your mini map. I found out that Shift + tab doesn't do anything :p but alt + F does. You can only change your color from red/blue to green unfortunately, but green was actually the color I wanted so I guess it all worked out.

Click the icon of a person in the bottom right corner of the main screen, which will open up your friends list. At the bottom, click "Add Friend" and type in said person's username and character code. If they're not on, you'll be notified when they do sign on next and you'll be able to message them at that point.
