It's fine that you don't like their casting style, but please stop pretending such a thing as "proper etiquette and casting professionalism" exists as whole in the business. It may be possible to claim such a thing exists in Korean casting scene, but looking at sportcasting as whole, it does not. Casters are first and foremost entertainers; their professionalism amounts to keeping the viewers/listeners entertained and thus increasing viewership and profits. If the target audience dislikes their style, they should change, otherwise there's no obligation. I'd pick Tastosis over the generally boring korean casters anytime.
Generally boring? :p I like Tastosis, but the Korean commentators make the game ridiculously exciting with their levels of enthusiasm.

Sure, but it's just that I find fake enthusiasm over every little thing more annoying than exciting
Also, still can't find any news about the wildcard tournament on the korean gomtv site or playxp

Apparently, it was one of the most competitive qualifications that GOM has yet held, so it is no surprise that not all of the top players were able to make it very far into the qualifications.

The wildcard rounds should be over by now, no?

Is there a full list of qualified players anywhere? Surely there are to few people in the op.

No wrong, only 4 foriegners get given a pass into Code A all the other foreigners that just turn up go into the code B qualifiers for Code A. Which is as it was before with the open qualifiers but now they have to get trough Code A after that to get to Code S so yea he is right it is going to take a big time commitment/move to korea to get into Code S now. Before you could set aside a month or so and maybe get to play one Code S tournament if you were good enough to get in now its going to be a stay of 2 seasons win through.
To break it down
1st Season: Turn up in korea a couple of weeks before quals to settle in. Code B quals, win through rounds and final to qualify for Code A
Code A. Win trough to R08 to qualify for up/down matches. Win up/down matches to qualify for Code S
2nd Season Play in Code S for first time as bottom rank seed.
Edited due to being dumb

I'm quite sure that they said you can immediately participate with code A qualifiers if you're a foreigner. I have a feint idea of where i heard that, i'll try to look it up later.
So that would be: (fastest track possible) First Season: - Show up in Korea a bit before code A qualifiers. - Qualify for code A - Play well enough in code A to be in up-down matches - Win your up-down matches to get into code S. Second Season: - Play in code S.
I'll edit this post if/when i find it.

Can someone edit the OP to show the full list of qualifiers? Is there a complete list online somewhere that I can see?
Thanks.

Edit: cant find it, but trust me if what you said was true Artosis, and Torch would be competing in Code A but they arent because they got knocked out sadly.
The bit you wrote as "-Qualify for code A" - that is the Code B qualifers.
But you are right about doing it in two seasons i think i confused myself a bit there. :o I got confused because this lot of Code A qualifiers will have to wait a bit longer due to this season being the team league.

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=188962 These are the interviews + list of qualified players.
Oh and this
Terran (13)
(T)Loner (T)aLive (T)August (T)ButterflyEffect (T)CchapSeungEu (T)Cute (T)Polt (T)Rain (T)Maka (T)GanZi (T)SuperNova (T)Destination (T)Virus
Zerg (13)
(Z)HayprO (Z)mOOnGLaDe (Z)Ret (Z)Junwi (Z)YuGiOh (Z)JookTo (Z)Moon (Z)Cezanne (Z)Leenock (Z)CoCa (Z)Curious (Z)LosirA (Z)Posh
Protoss (6)
(P)HuK (P)Squirtle (P)SangHo (P)LegalMind (P)Alicia (P)Ace
Note that (T)LiveForever is reporting for military duty from Code S and will be replaced by one of the Code A players who were bumped in the up&down matches.
This will leave an open slot in Code A and it will be filled by (Z)Yeah, so the final list will look slightly different.
