The problem is the router itself handle that many connections. Unplugging it and plugging it back in would basically cause any open sessions to cease and the ARP table to clear. The solution is to get a router that can handle that many sessions. Which means having enough RAM, a fast enough processor, and a stable OS. That's why I recommend an Asus RT-N16 + Tomato A TP-Link WR1043ND or Netgear WNDR3700 are good too. Though being Atheros based, they won't run Tomato (which is my favourite of the linux-based firmwares). They'll run DD-WRT, which is still good, though I've heard QOS on DD-WRT isn't as good as on Tomato. | ||
