Let's focus more on the mayoral debate. For one, I wonder why RoL voted Kav without giving reason. Maybe he's just not voting for himself, either because he doesn't think he can, or because he is being polite. Or maybe he's decided he doesn't want the mayoral position that much after all. If so, why?
He never seemed to be that enthusiastic about pursuing the position besides his one long post on the matter. I'm actually curious about the change of heart too, as he sounded like he was going to really push for the mayorship now, and he had Dr.H throw his support behind him. Is he not running anymore, has he conceded? Or is it simply a matter or politeness?

I'd vote for RoL if he didn't seem so lazy. Some good insight on the mayor role.
I don't have a strong opinion of Kavdragon just yet, as his playstyle generally looks town.
For the most part we need to ignore clues and focus on the people themselves.
@darmousseh all those situations lead into a bunch of WIFOM. I'll be watching you for better posts.

So kav is the only candidate now? Thats a bit weird.

Wine in front of me iirc it just means that its a never ending argument with no real basis that generally should just be dropped until more information is found.

EBWOP: WIFOM: Wine in Front of Me. Used to point out reasoning based on assumptions that may or may not be true. For example, Mafia would want to kill LSB. Therefore since LSB isn’t dead, he’s mafia.

RoL voted for me back before he was running. He may change his vote, and I would certainly not consider him out. Everyone dislikes that I'm running unopposed, but no one is running. I'm not trying to turn this into a bandwagon on me, but I've just received the endorsement of several good players. (Like RoL).

Case Against OriginalName: Clues
From ON's profile:
What do Tigers Dream of when they take their little tiger snooze? Do they dream of mauling Zebras or Halle Berry in a Catwomen suit? Well don't you worry your little tiger head we'll get you back to tyson and your cozy tiger bed! And then we'll find our best friend Doug and then we will give him a best friend hug. Doug Doug douggie Doug Doug and if he gets caught by some Crystel Meth Tweakers Then were Shit Outta Luck
From the day post:
It was just a movie scene, just something from a scary film. A bad dream. This couldn’t be happening.
As the host brought around the drinks, as the the crowd crescendos with laughter, as the band broke out into another song... I felt something was wrong. Did the lights in the ceiling just black out? Are those black shapes in the alcove bats? Is that shadow in the corner a black cat?
Never thought I'd walk on this street again.
I should have known that this voyaged was cursed with bad luck from the start.
There are several corralations between OriginalName. (Remember, Tigers are just big cats. They tie in too. His public profile is a quote from Hangover, a movie.)
Post Analysis
We have 72 hours to figure out a lynch basically although i doubt anything really productive will occur night 0.
Lightly discourages contrabution on Night 0. This was posted about 1.5 hours into the game, at which point lots had already happened. Why assume that nothing will happen, when things aleady are?

Spoon is an indie rock band. It says in Node’s profile that he listens to indie rock. Therefore, the clue points to him.
There will not be many intentional red herrings, but as the stories become more detailed, there may be some. Who knows maybe the Black could be such a red herring to throw us off >_>.
Light defense of himself, but very non-commital. Oddly non commital considering that he's been FoS'd via clues several times at this point. He also fails to adress the main clues, "cat" and "Luck". This looks scummy to me.

Again, he is posting like a new mafia player, who is nervous about being scum. A townie would post much more boldly becaues he knows he's town, and he has nothing to fear/lose.
Overall, he posts with with an extremely timid voice. A quick glance at his play in Don't Lose Yo Mafia shows that he is much more aggressively, and with a lot more authority in his posts. He was town in that game, and although the roles were somewhat reversed, it proves that he's not timid because he's new. This in addition to the connections made with clues make him my primary target.
Note, I built this case offline, so i couldn't use the quote feature. As such, it's just a copy past job, so sorry if some spoilers don't work. Yeah I'm good with your case against ON Kav, and you just made me feel a lot better about voting for you. However several people have voted for both you and RoL now and failed to give a reason for those votes. I'd like everyone to justify their votes in the thread for later reference.

I would think RoL would have posted saying "NVM guys, my bad, don't want to be mayor after all..." Perhaps he's feeling apathetic about this game as well? If so, why is he still playing? Apathy shouldn't be tolerated.
I'll switch over to Kav in a second. Let's not just all agree on killing ON right now though. More discussion/analysis = better chance of killing someone. Also, ON isn't really doing a good job of defending himself if he actually is scum. Typically scum are more active in their defense, and will usually try to deflect suspicion onto someone else, or highlight someone else's scummy behavior. Basically, draw suspicion away from them, not act like the suspicion is no big deal. That speaks apathetic townie to me, not scum.

Actually I was just about to post something like this. I like how the attention shifted to "mi dio" and onto me with such a weak correlation. There are tons more clues pointing to OriginalName's profile and even if some of them are red herrings, there's simply way too much coincidence.
The kicker is ON's last few posts as pointed out by Kav. Once LunarDestiny pointed out the Mi dio clue, ON immediately tries to form some connection to other people's profiles. More (Flimsy) insight on Mi Dio (My God intrepation)

Well ON did try to poke at a few other people using weak clue correlation towards them. Also, could the bolded black be referring to the Serial Killer? Then he wouldn't have his team to rely on, and would have to act independently. This sounds like it could seem daunting and make him act timidly. I do agree that we need some more analysis and discussion though, before we tunnel-vision, especially as we have some time before mayor/lynch, and there are no role reveals. It would also be interesting to hear from ON, though it must be hard to defend oneself from clues, as all you can really do is point out holes in the clue logic.

Since he inadvertently started his campaign prior to the roles given out, the chances of him being mafia are as good as an RNG without any of the downsides.
I liked RoL's long post, but it was too long overdue and not enough to persuade me.

I actually agree to some extent with BrownBear, because he did such a bad job of pushing it off, but he is a newer player, so it could just be that he's not sure what to do. Normally I would credit behavior like this to being mafia, or blue, but his play in DLYM is so bold, that I have a hard time believeing that he's blue...

Thnx siniquity and papapanda for explaining. While this isn't like a major lynch vote I feel we should set up a precedent for people to explain their votes so we have a better idea of why people acted a certain way. This way down the line it'll put more pressure on someone to explain during a crucial vote and It'll help tons in character analysis.

The reason I don't believe he is SK is the clues. It seems very odd for the hosts to point out an SK day one. That being said, the easy way is to ask.
Do the clue(s) in the day one post point to Mafia, SK, or either? Or do we only know that they are a killer?
