Sup guys, first blog post yeeeeehhh, still not sure how this works tho :s
1. UBC StarCraft Club is now official on UBC Vancouver campus! We're currently looking to recruit ANYONE with ANY skill level. We want to have frequent LAN parties and some major tournaments later on. If you play SC2 and go to UBC, you should definitely join. PM me if you have any questions :D

2. Wanted to take this opportunity to get some advice giving free coaching lessons. How do gosucoaches run their lessons?
I guess my only way to do this is play a game with them, and just give hints and tips here and there? Any advices on that would be helpful.
If you're interested, I plan on having these on Tuesdays and the weekend. Going to update once I know for sure that I want to do this, and post here I guess if you want some help from me :D
3. Sup Master league! Can't believe I got in haha awesome.
2600+ Diamond in shitty division into 2100 Master. Same league as incontrol, drewbie, slush, liquidtyler WUT.

2. I've seen people go over replays together, play 2v2, play 1v1, and go over replays.
They assign them different things to try, that kind of thing. =3
Gotta be patient though! ^_~

Raeleigh you can techniquely join as an associate member, we're having a booth on Jan13th or 17th by the SUB entrance, visit us if you live somewhere close

When(time) is the booth?
I live in Richmond, UBC isn't that far, but I work most days from 10:30-7, or something close to that. @_@

oh that's not too bad The booth runs from 10-4pm for both days. We should be pretty easy to find, will be playing some games outside.

Do you have to live on campus to join? I go to UBC but commute from Richmond. Haven't played in a while, and could definitely use a chance to brush up my skills and get out of plat.

That's definitely not a requirement. In fact, I myself commute to campus. Most, if not all of our events will happen later in the afternoon when most classes finish. Ya there happens to be a lot of players from UBC, so it's going to be good

ha, my girlfriend told me about this after buying a textbook off one of you guys the other day. sounds fun !
im transferring there in the fall and picking up starcraft right now, and ill definitely join. good luck in the college leagues too you guys are killing it!
edit: and canucks i will buy you a something to thank you for all the gsl translations :D
