To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
No reposting of old material unless justified
Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)
Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

lol, just an fyi... "TaeNy" refers to something else. It's a contraction of Taeyeon + Tiffany, which is one of the more popular "pairings" (e.g. YulSic JeTi Yoonyul Sunyeon 2ny etc.) among sones.
the label taeny would be applied to something like this: + Show Spoiler +
whatever floats your boat though... i am partial to taengoo or taetae as nicks.
Or that it was played on streams repeatedly. Or that it's been in my profile for months. I mean, come on. You guys aren't even trying anymore. You're just posting the first link from years ago that you come across.
Don't really like this. For some reason its like I expect it to sound a certain way and then it sounds a little different and I'm disappointed, its really weird.
New Younha MV...I love her, but this song and MV is so typical K-ballad. The reason I love her is due to her originality and her original songs, but this new style doesn't not fit her. I want my rocker Younha back
There are 979 pages in this thread. There are people who are not gonna comb through all 979 pages of this thread just to find whether or not it's a repeat.
Jesus christ cut them some slack. It's not like it was just posted like < 5 pages ago. In fact, it was posted 500 pages ago...
On topic, I like ballad style Younha. Definitely fits her more than that atrocious blonde rocker style.

I enjoy this new song. I like most of her songs, whether they're ballad or rock. How is this a "new style" anyway? She's done ballads.

They don't have to. The wonderful world of "click the search button" or site searching TL.net can find out in literally 5 seconds. How do you think I got the dozen links? I sure as hell didn't go page by page. It's tedious seeing something reposted every other page as if its brand new, never having checked or even bothered to use spoiler tags.
It's not some "oh, this rarely happens so who cares" -- it's all the time. I understand people are [usually] acting in good faith, but it's frustrating as hell for someone who swings by once a month (or less) to just post the same thing again and not take any effort to check when it's so easy to do.

And also, SeeYa has disbanded under apparently amicable terms with CCM.
A Core Contents Media agency officials recently stated, “CEO Kim Kwang Su was visited by Lee Boram and Kim Yeon Ji and said that they would like to go their separate ways. He even offered to help them out at anytime.”
On January 10th, their final album “Goodbye My Love” containing all their hits as well as two new songs.
reposting is generally frowned upon, unless you actually have something to add to it. a mere youtube link/picture being brought up again is not good. definitely not a bannable offense and perhaps not warnable, but it's still not good to do.
and re: seeya disband... i am really sad about that, actually. i really liked their stuff.
Composer Choi Hee Jin, who was previously arrested for attempted blackmail, has received a two-year prison sentence for her crimes.
The Seoul Central District Court ruled on the morning of December 14th that Choi Hee Jin defamed Tae Jin Ah and Eru by spreading false rumors, and attempted to extort money from them.
Prosecutors stated, “Choi Hee Jin requested money for an abortion after lying about her pregnancy. The Cho family has been largely affected by this case.” Although prosecutors previously asked for a five-year sentence, the court came to a final judgment on two years instead, due to a repentant letter Choi wrote explaining her regret in her actions, and how she is reflecting on her behavior.

I agree that it'll happen sometimes since some things are hard to search for or have peculiar permutations, but most of the stuff comes up on the first result of the most obvious search terms, e.g. + Show Spoiler +
Just because it's going to happen sometimes doesn't mean you should acquiesce to it. If people strive for fresh stuff instead of things that've been a running joke for months then you get better content overall and then who cares about a repost because it happens so rarely. Right now it's just incredibly frequent to the point of being frustrating. Hell, I'm all for "I came across X, it was posted awhile ago [and might not be available anymore] so maybe people haven't see it:" XYZ name + spoiler of content => everyone wins. As opposed to now, where someone comes across an old video and reposts it, then 3 more people repost out of the youtube related videos and you've got pages of old YT links instead of spoilers you can just scroll past if you've seen it. I don't think that's an unreasonable request. I'm hardly in a position to proclaim that this must be done, but still I feel it's worth bringing up.

I think you're right in that it's better to call people out rather than let it slide. But I haven't been around long enough nor often enough to recognize reposts when they happen. So I'll leave the chastising to you, among others On the topic of spoiler tags though, I think they could definitely be used more liberally.
I cant believe this but im going to have to agree with Craton. I have to say I have previously offended in this regard and it was(not so gently) pointed out that I should shape up. And its true, People not spoilering pix and vids especially when quoting and bringing up old posts again has indeed become rampant. A little more effort indeed goes a long way. Take pride in your posts people. Peace.
I think that stage KARA performed on was one of the smallest of all time. And wtf at the treadmill part...
Seemed more like a press event than an actual performance. And the treadmill thing is because they released a commercial in Japan for some pedometer-type device and that's what they were promoing there (the ipod-like devices strapped to their arms at the beginning).
