Why is it so funny?
Because if you re-read the guys post with Stan's voice from the song, and conclude with the line "Your biggest fan, Stan" you have possibly the funniest blog post ever on TL.

I agree with the OP.
I think it's matter of time to see how many people respects Idra's attitude.

BM games just have more entretainment value.
This is so wrong, the beatiful thing about the SC community is that almost everyone is good with each other, obviously if you like that in soccer they punch each other in the face (not every game though) it's gonna be good, and if you actually think that it's "entertaining", you have a problem my friend, and yes, I think the same for everyone who loves violence in that extreme thinking that is "entertaining".
Sorry for my bad english (:!
Btw: First post: EPIC

Having someone who's being unnecessarily griveous in some way, but great at the game, is any community's dream. We all want someone that we "love to hate", so to speak, and who gains a group of die-hard loyal fanboys who don't write blogs of criticism against their deity - and who we all love to raise our eyebrows at in selfrighteous smugness. Players, who at the same time stay in the spotlight because they're solid at what the game is about and attract attention to it. IdrA is like poker's Phil Hellmuth, or football's Rivaldo or Marco Materazzi (minus the bone-breaking part). Plus his Greatest Hits-quotes are nothing short of outstanding.
IdrA, if you for some unfathomable reason have bothered to read this - *dont change anything*. Be a teamplayer and fight the team! It's what we really need. Who else would volunteer for a position that requires you to say "Apologize for your race! and for taking wins you dont deserve!" with a straight face?
I wrote this cuz I dont have selfrespect
It's like Jose Mourinho in football (soccer for you US ppl). Many people hate him, many people love him. Before him I watched football for the sake of just watching it. Now 60-70% of the time I watch football because of Mourinho. The guy is a genius, BM and all.
Same goes for IdrA, I like his playing style, I like how he's being real.
BTW newbie here, hello everyone ^^
Edit: thanks guys for the Stan reference, had me rolling on the floor laughing :D

I was definitely confused how that OP got the spotlight. I'm glad I scrolled down to see the comments because most of the time I don't want to see responses to this stuff. Then someone went and won the internet for the day :D

Less serious comments on Idra's BM, and more ridiculous comments/lyrics pertaining to the actually important part of this thread plz
|
rekrul called him linear frankenstein at some point... i really fail to understand how IdrA continued to be ignorant of asynchronous and counter-intuitive game styles, even though he was led step-by-step by rekruls impeccable logic.
Also his "bad manners" i blame on a lot of misplaced angst. And don't think i am allergic to "bm", as most of the StarCraft community cause i am not. I really like nerd raging and nerd drama, but the way IdrA does it, it reeks of misplaced angst and self issues.
Advice to IdrA: You will never be top class gamer unless you accept the arrhythmical aspect of the game. StarCraft is not an equation to be solved. If you want to solve equations you should have stayed in your college in America, and not seek a career in the e-sports scene.
