Well, how hard is the exam? Alternatively, how early can you go to bed tonight (answer, not very) in order to get up on time to watch Jinro?
Really the smart thing to do is study -> sleep -> exam -> VOD, but if you think you can ace the exam easy than take a nap, get up for Jinro live. If you don't want to get up when the alarm goes off, you probably shouldn't.

And you're asking this on Team Liquid? Of course almost everyone here will tell you to watch Jinro. Heck, even I'm gonna pull an all-nighter to see Jinro, and I have a college math final at 3 tomorrow.
It might be better to ask this question on a slightly less biased site. Like reddit

Watch chinro, study his game apply in someway shape or form to your exam and profit.

If Jinro doesn't win, and you stay up to watch, then your confidence will be destroyed and you will do much worse than if you were simply sleep deprived. This is very good rationalization and advice.

Easy call. Jinro. Stay up later and study.

Jinro. I also have an exam tomorrow.

Exam. It's not even the finals. There will be many more GSL. Frankly, even if it was the finals, I'd probably still have to say exam.
It's not true that it is actually impossible to wach Jinro and still do well in your exam. But it's a lot less likely. And that way of thinking, is something you shouldn't encourage in yourself.

Jinro. You still get enough sleep to write the exam and then crash afterwards
No brainer really..

No.

Dude, I'm pulling an all nighter for an essay+exam combo. I'll be awake and STILL can't watch Jinro crush noobs.
|
Just don't go to bed. If you can't manage to stay up all night studying and watching Jinro, then you aren't a nerd. In all honesty, what is it? Like 36 hours without sleep if you don't go to bed? That's nothing.

lol, I love how this is a serious question. REALLY?!? Dude, GTFInBed, do well on your exam and have a good paying job where you can afford to pay for the vods.
|
Study, when you get an A on that exam, reward yourself with $20.00 and buy premium GOMTV membership, then watch the vods.

Go to bed, wake up, watch it, and then go to your exam. Win-win.

Are you actually in post-secondary? Are you paying for your own schooling?
The correct answer is to go to bed early to get a good mark on the exam and then watch the vod when you come home.
Listen to this post.
You are shooting yourself in the foot if you stay up when you have an exam...

I was in this predicament a few weeks ago. It wasn't a final but just a midterm. What i did -> Studied like mad, slept for 4 hours, studied during the match, then took my test. Got a 92.
|
Isn't the 20 bucks alone (price of vods) worth not failing an exam?
Clearly the solution is to ace the exam and study/sleep well, then drop 20 bucks (or share with a buddy for 10?) on a GSL account to watch all of Jinro's games from this season back to back after the exam.
|
I think i'll have the games on the side while going over past exams and notes... exam at 830 as well LETS DO THIS!!!!!!
|
I'm totally doing all my work while watching the games. not even kidding. 8 hours of hw happen to coincide with GSL. wooh.
nap --> JINRO --> extra cram session(depending on where you are) --> EXAM!!!
|
Sleep so you will be in a good state for your exam. Watch Jinro on VOD later on.
