Jinro is going to win with such dominance that your exams are going to be postponed so that everyone at your school can watch the game (or VODs I guess) in the auditorium.

Are you serious lol...

Are you actually in post-secondary? Are you paying for your own schooling?

The correct answer is to go to bed early to get a good mark on the exam and then watch the vod when you come home.

Observing Jinro with GSL Ro8 will give you enough motivation to pass your final exam. If you don't watch him, you will be asking yourself later..why? which will cause you to lose focus.

I'm assuming you have already studied enough for the exam, in which case I would say take a nap now, wake up at 4, watch Jinro, go take exam.

Take the exam..

I have no clue what you're thinking right now, even considering skipping finals to watch a starcraft2 match you could watch later..

Finals. If Jinro gets through, then you will be able to watch him in a more important game after your finals. If Jinro doesn't win, and you stay up to watch, then your confidence will be destroyed and you will do much worse than if you were simply sleep deprived.

Ah, if only it were on time management, then you'd know what to do!

If you're going to be up either way, then I say watch the match, but that's only if you're planning on staying awake no matter what

Well, how hard is the exam? Alternatively, how early can you go to bed tonight (answer, not very) in order to get up on time to watch Jinro?

Really the smart thing to do is study -> sleep -> exam -> VOD, but if you think you can ace the exam easy than take a nap, get up for Jinro live. If you don't want to get up when the alarm goes off, you probably shouldn't.

And you're asking this on Team Liquid? Of course almost everyone here will tell you to watch Jinro. Heck, even I'm gonna pull an all-nighter to see Jinro, and I have a college math final at 3 tomorrow.

It might be better to ask this question on a slightly less biased site. Like reddit

Exam. It's not even the finals. There will be many more GSL. Frankly, even if it was the finals, I'd probably still have to say exam.

It's not true that it is actually impossible to wach Jinro and still do well in your exam. But it's a lot less likely. And that way of thinking, is something you shouldn't encourage in yourself.

Just don't go to bed. If you can't manage to stay up all night studying and watching Jinro, then you aren't a nerd. In all honesty, what is it? Like 36 hours without sleep if you don't go to bed? That's nothing.

Isn't the 20 bucks alone (price of vods) worth not failing an exam?

Clearly the solution is to ace the exam and study/sleep well, then drop 20 bucks (or share with a buddy for 10?) on a GSL account to watch all of Jinro's games from this season back to back after the exam.

Assuming this exam is even remotely difficult/important you should obviously put your time in to studying and watch the VOD later on. Truthfully, I don't see how you could even consider staying up to watch a game at this time when VODs will be available.

Just watch the vod after the exam dude. There is no difference between a vod and a live game. You can just pretend it is a live viewing.

Sleep now and set an alarm for GSL. Watch GSL, and study afterward until its time for exam.

i'll watch.

truthfully, jinro games probably will take about 2 hours or so maximum. I doubt studying during those 2 hours will make you miraculously able to alter your results. Your exam results probably has been decided long ago by how well you prepared the past few days or whether you listen in class/ did your homework etc.

unless you are the kind that really needs sleep before exam and losing 2 hours of sleep will make you unable to focus etc in which case i'll sleep earlier and wake up to watch and then go to school.

Personally, I would just resist going on TL.net for a few days (to not spoil it), then go watch the replay/vods.

Lol this one is of course final exam. Easiest call ever. Even though it is Jinro, you're making a comparison between your future and stupidest season of GSL. Finals, hands down baby.

This thread has made me lose confidence in TL.

What is with people encouraging him to skip JINRO for something as trivial as a final exam?

Tsk tsk, not impressed.

EDIT: For the record, I didn't sleep, watched Jinro, am barely awake, and have TWO finals in a bit.

It's not that hard to pull an all nighter. It really isn't. I do it at least 1-2 times per week and it has yet to screw me over on a final. I've even fallen asleep during a final (International Politics), but still aced it. If you can't get through a couple of hours in the morning with either coffee or energy drinks, you are one weak person.

Lol that kind of lifestyle will catch up to you soon...I already had to change my habits and I'm only 20 (yes I did the same type of things all the time last year).

If you get 8-9 hours of sleep and wake up at 4 AM, you should still be in good shape for the exam. If you're not capable of that, then just watch the vods after your exam.

To all the people suggesting Jinro > exams - shame on you, why not both?
