And then throw in some UMS, and you got a brand new game. Thats funny. BW was basically throw in some missions, few units and you get an expansion for Sc1, wasn't it? And people loved it.

Except that they only made 1 x-pack. WoW would be a good comparison though, because its overrated and has a million x-packs like CoD.

So why does it cost $60 if it's an expansion? Because people will buy it because it's fresh. Just like if Heart of the Swarm will cost $60, or even if Cataclysm was $60, people would still buy it. There are games that have sequels, like Starcraft 2, and say what you want that it is just a revamped Starcraft 1, but truth is it was a whole new game, with a whole new engine, new story, new units, not just an expansion. Sadly CoD:BO isn't a new game, it's just an expansion. And why? Why not make a whole new game? Money. It's cheaper to recycle the old content and slap a new name on it and have people lap it up for $60 when it's really just an expansion of the same game. And in case anyone wants to try and say I hate CoD:BO, I don't. I actually own the game and enjoy it quite a lot, but I just want other people to realize that they bought an expansion of CoD4, not a whole new game.

Sure you can slap on a new name to CoD, and add a small amount of content, but really it's not a new game, it's just an expansion of what CoD4 was. So why does it cost $60 if it's an expansion? You don't reference shooter culture properly at all in your post. Shooter fan's don't want whole new games. Look at Halo, CoD, Quake and Unreal, these are iconic shooter titles with well expanded communities, all installments of these titles cost MILLIONS and not much has changed at all. I'm not going to say cost has nothing to do with it, but you are making it sound like the decision to release previous versions of the game with a slightly better physics and graphics engine is all about money, it's not necessarily, that is how game culture is developed. CoD:BO is one of the most expensive titles released this year. Starcraft II is a terrible comparison because it is only developed for use on PC. http://www.gamesradar.com/pc/modern-warfare-2/news/call-of-duty-black-ops-cost-more-than-modern-warfare-2/a-2010080612172234020/g-2009032614266203008

Wasn't trying to reference shooter culture at all, was just trying to compare how CoD releases "new" games compared to how other games release expansions that add on to current content, and how by them packaging a recycled game with some expansion content, they can sell more copies to people who think they are getting a new game, when in reality the game isn't new.

i would really like to play on your server Issor, but the lag to a US server would be huge.

Shotguns seem pretty useless especially as primaries. They don't seem to accomplish anything an SMG can't and SMGs give you a chance at greater ranges. The LMGs don't seem that good either. They are all pretty good guns - but ARs just seem better imo. LMGs kill your mobility, take quite awhile to ADS, take awhile to reload, have very limited attachments, and AR sized clips. I just don't see the point of using them instead of an AR, maybe I'm just missing something there. Maps don't seem very sniper friendly overall which is a shame. Overall I'm having a good time - I just wish the spawns were better.

I've found LMGs to be a bit better if you get the extended clip. I wish I could get a grip for them though.

A Galil holds 50 to a mag with extended mags, not that much short of an LMG with EM, and IIRC the Galil comes with more spare ammo. The lack of grips and supressors as attachments for LMGs makes me sad.

I have everything on low, and I'm getting 50-60 fps which I'm happy with(tested with bots on every map now). On some servers I don't lag at all with 100 ping, while on others everything and everyone is laggy for me with 40-70 ping wtf? I connect to servers 10% of the time. Everytime I try to connect I see the map, then the screen goes black, and then I get "Error Connection to host lost" FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU The maps load ridiculously long, I mean like 5 minutes long with looking at the damn clock. While my CPU usage is around 60-70%. Da fuck is this shit?

I'm having a tough time deciding between that and the FAMAS. Hell, even the Enfield is good. I also love my AUG <3
