BTW I'm surprised so many people from iem nyc made it to mlg considering it's a bit of a drive haha...

Seems like a tension free kind of environment. Even though thousands of dollars are on the line, people are generally friendly to their opponents.

Or am I wrong?

Ah man, the whole weekend is just one big party except for the 40 minutes to an hour where two guys are playing against each other. The egos and teams and rivalries and everything else just helps make everything interesting. =)
