So I played a game on Fighting Spirit today against Korean tosses and what do you know, he decides to 12 nex. Seeing as how it's a Korean and fortunately for him we were at cross positions, I decided to just go for a normal Siege expand, where I tried to use Dropship harass to overcome that small economic advantage that he got. And lol... boy did he surprise me this game.
When I tried to take 9, he zealot dropped on me and dropped a .... DARK ARCHON. You know what happens next..... FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFU he mind controlled my SCV. I unfortunately didn't find out until later when he took the whole map LOL. And yet, this game showed me how strong Terran defense truly is. Even though he had 1 more base than I did, he couldn't overcome my defenses.
Later on, I just got bored and kept trying to kill 11, where all his factories were. And he won by an economic advantage. But now to be serious, how do you deal with a Protoss who mind controls one of your SCVs? It gets really frustrating and becomes a MINDFUCK when you're seeing Tanks used against you in a TvP O_O. Here's the replay lol. My macro was terrible as I haven't played in a couple of weeks so please try to focus on other aspects that I probably should have improved on. Mind Control

I've always wanted to pull off a Mind Control in a real game (always used to do it against AIs as a kid), though that's pretty awesome (well not that it happened to you!) that it managed to happen haha.
Two 200 food-caps FTL.

really kinda bad game high mineral counts by both players

Your picture is of mind-controlling a Siege Tank, not an SCV.. YOU LIE. I WILL NOT WATCH THE REPLAY.
And is this viable? Building a second army, I mean. I always used to do it as a kid against the computer for fun but as I recall, even from when I was 12, money was pretty tight.

My macro is actually usually on key in most of my games, but this game I was really shocked by what this Protoss did and it affected my macro.

The map in the pic is not Fighting Spirit is it?

hey prozen use a real screenshot from the actual game not some google images crud next time gosh what a nub!

Solution: don't let him get to DA...
Plus seriously, as people said, raising a second race after MC'ing one of the workers takes 1) a lot of time and 2) a lot of resources.
CC - 400min Barrack - 150min Factory - 200min 100gas Machine Shop - 50min 50gas
So he'd have to spend an extra 800/150 just to be able to produce his first tank, which as you know, costs 150/100, so 950/250! For just one tank! I mean, he could have made 5 goons and 3 zealots with that money and still have a few pennies left over.
*edit: I forgot the machine shop addon in the original reply.

the only way to deal with a protoss who mind controls an scv of yours and starts making tanks is to mass wraith. see, tanks can't hit air, and he will always make tanks since tanks are clearly the best terran unit. you just scan and kill his observers with your wraiths, and then kill all his units, since he can't see you. really though if he starts making a command centre and terran buildings AFTER making the dark archon, you can probably just roll him then and there with what you have.

Dark Archons + Mind Control is very expensive, and your mineral lines are probably defended --> hard to drop. Even if he does manage to squirrel away an SCV, if you're not already far behind, you should be able to push before he gets any use out of his new Terran faction.
That said, this technique if successful crushes the TvP fallback plan of "I'm-not-winning-let-me-turtle-to-200/200-3/3." If you let Protoss build a dozen siege tanks, you will never get to push out.
