Whether he's trolling or being serious (hopefully he's trolling, otherwise humanity is doomed), you're still wasting your time. lol. You're either wasting your time giving some idiot something to laugh about or you're wasting your time arguing something that he's not going to listen to anyways. Lose-Lose.

Yes, I'm serious. School in Japan isn't anything like what most people think Battle Royale means. I have lots of friends and an aunt teaching English there right now. It's competitive but by no means is it a violent struggle that leaves them soullessly selfish with no regard for anything but their own future. When's the last time you met a kid from Japan? Most of my friends from Japan when I was in university or from when I lived there are very normal people who had a very normal school life. No I mean the Lord of the Flies comparison. If you think Lord of the flies has no meaning and it's just a bunch of people killing each other then I don't know what to say. as for the movie, movies like that often exagerrate a lot to prove a point or illustrate something, doesn't mean they have to be an accurate depiction of an actual japanese school. Lord of the Flies isn't exactly what would happen if you had a society run by kids, it's exagerrate to prove a point about human nature. But, what do I know, I just went to school and lived there. You're probably right about their school system being nothing like what I said it was. Don't see how this has to do with anything. You can pick out meanings and purposes in movies without experiences it's setting. The amount of people who think I'm a loser popping up in this thread to troll me is funny, like I had no idea that people would try or think this sort of thing and totally wasn't expecting it No I'm not trolling you. I'm being serious when I say that he was obviously getting a rise out of making you angry and wasn't actually being serious in his arguments. Thus, the real loser of your "debate" is you for not realizing your response was exactly what he was striving for.
