reach out and touch LA! too many east coast events!
|
Looking forward to the event as a spectator to the streams.
I wonder how long it will take before someone makes fun of the name of the congress centre... (no this didn't count)
|
Also, if anybody can sticky this, that would be great <3

We are going to Dallas in November. That is about as far west as we have gone for 2010. However, keep an eye out for west coast events in 2011.

could mlg advertise team battles for sc2 or even game battles in general? i feel as though it is lacking luster although i make the effort to find opponents
|
Have the invitation spots already been filled? Is there a list of who those are? I can't get to the Circuit info pages on mlgpro.com, anyone else having this problem?
|
How many slots and whats the prize pool? Same as Raleigh?

Please stay tuned.

There are 16 invites. There is not a list of invites yet.
And yes, the Pro Circuit section of MLG is currently down, but it should be back up soon.

The prize pool will be the same as Raleigh.

Do you know yet what time check-in and the SC2 event starts, and when the finals are? Will it be like last time where the SC2 event lasts from friday night through saturday midday?
|
Deimos,
Are there matches and important stuff on that friday? I would love to attend and play in the SC2 event but I cannot get out of work for Friday. I don't want to buy a pass and then have to just forfeit out. What is the schedule of events?

In Raleigh, we went all the way to Winners Round 3/Losers Round 3 on Friday.

I travel a lot, and the Gaylord Hotels (been to Orlando and Nashville), are awesome. I always tell all my friends and family that it is the best hotel I have ever been too.

I am sure the name Gaylord was established before the term Gay became popular as a derogatory word

fair enough. I'm from the UK so we have different big hotel chains.
tournament sounds good, hopefully HuK will pull another win.

So as long as we get there by 4 we should be ok? And the matches take place that evening? Could I proxy register? lol I'm worried if I buy a ticket and miss registration I'll be screwed out of $60...

Thanks for the quick response! Not to sound like I'm putting pressure on you, but do you know approx when we'll know that, as in like within a couple days or a week or longer? I'm just trying to setup travel arrangements for my players and the prices seem to go up every day.

Awesome! I can't wait to see who will be competing!
