Protoss also is very micro friendly with Warcraft 3 type spells such as 'blink' (and the high templar spells would fit right in with a Warcraft 3 pro). Protoss would also fit his more aggressive style. I agree Protoss is a nice race to transition to from WC3 (as a WC3 player myself who never played SC1 ever). However Zerg does have a few undead style traits like creep, fast units, expendable cheap units etc. Also mutalisks feel just like gargoyles and Madfrog was an avid Garg user in WC3. Personally I can't keep up with the Zerg macro style in SC2 it just feels like theres soooo much to focus on with Queens and larva spawning non-stop, but I think pro-gamers won't have much trouble adjusting to the heavy macro style of SC2. WC3 players who played Human (like DeMuslim) have an advantage in this area since Human was always the "macro-heavy" race of WC3.

I remember back in the hayday of cs, watching some cpl videos where there were genuine rivalries, and people would obviously cheer, work the crowd up a bit... Is it just the mature and "good manner" nature of rts players that prevent that from happening? I mean, where are the cool charismatic gamers that you want to watch and root for, or the dastardly evel heel rebels that dont give a f*** about anyones opinions. Is it just the pressure of the event that makes them clam up and show absolutely no emotion? like if you watch wrestling without the "entertainment" it would be absolutely boring to watch, and I feel this is the way sc2 is going. The only people who will watch it are the hardcore types who care about the build, tactics and strategy... It just makes me sad after watching the kotb tournament which made sc2 fun, and cool, something I could imagine taking some non-gamer friends too and saying, hey, check this out! Oh gg's btw. Although I think tlo was kind of just mucking around on the 2nd day.
