Found out this weekend she's been lying to me and cheating on me from the very beginning. Fooling around with her ex. I contacted him and from the sounds of it, she was playing him, too. He gave me a nude she sent him of herself that was taken recently (She took it holding her new iPhone in a mirror, so it can't be old).

Nice swan. My brother made one of those once, so I understand how mind-numbingly time consuming it is to simply make the pieces to make the swan.

As for the girl, save your swan and give it to a girl worth your time if you haven't given it to her already. Or, even better... sell it. A lot of people would be willing to pay for a pretty house decoration.

It was indeed mind numbingly time consuming.

However, I'm going to give it to her still. I can't give it to someone else or sell it because every single piece of paper has something I like about her written on it.

I plan on starting work on a modular dragon done in a similar style.

My brother also planned on doing that but didn't dare to attempt it after finishing the swan. I told him that if it took "a thousand or so pieces for the swan, it'll take about a million for the dragon."

EDIT: Also, about the part where you said you wrote something you like about her on every piece... Awww, that's so sweet. Sorry things didn't work out, though.

dude, sell it, it doesnt matter if have writings in it, i wouldnt mind if you told me that, i will buy it anyway.

But, please, dont give it to her, just dont. she doesnt deserve it. if you do that then it will really become a waste of time all the effort you put in it.

Give it to charity, sell it, there is a lot of options.

As for the comments about its durability....

It's somewhat weak, but I believe that's because I had over half the pieces folded before I started writing things on them, so I unfolded them all, wrote on them, and re-folded, which I'm sure weakened them a bit. As long as you're gentle with it, it holds up well.

One could be made with stronger paper that you could probably use to hold some fake flowers or something like that.
