As for the girl, save your swan and give it to a girl worth your time if you haven't given it to her already. Or, even better... sell it. A lot of people would be willing to pay for a pretty house decoration. | ||

My brother also planned on doing that but didn't dare to attempt it after finishing the swan. I told him that if it took "a thousand or so pieces for the swan, it'll take about a million for the dragon." EDIT: Also, about the part where you said you wrote something you like about her on every piece... Awww, that's so sweet. Sorry things didn't work out, though. | ||

Your link isn't working for me, but this dragon: http://origami.bluepop.us/2007/09/chinese-dragon-part-ii.html As for the comments about its durability.... It's somewhat weak, but I believe that's because I had over half the pieces folded before I started writing things on them, so I unfolded them all, wrote on them, and re-folded, which I'm sure weakened them a bit. As long as you're gentle with it, it holds up well. One could be made with stronger paper that you could probably use to hold some fake flowers or something like that. | ||
