I know many people from all over the place will be coming here to this area. I decided to try and help Diggity on this topic for Hotels/Carpooling. I cannot take anyone for personal reasons, but if you would like to talk about carpooling situations here, feel free.
Ok, as for hotels, they are quite a few around but they are all about 2 miles away from the tourney site.

Im traveling from San Antonio, Texas and I don't have a hotel yet or person to take me from my room but I do have my plane ticket! Just thought i would cab but i think one of my practice partners is attending.

hey silent, u might want to look up roadrunner, it's the ventura county transport for LAX to ventua county and visa versa

There is a nice transport service from LAX to Ventura and back called the Ventura County Airporter.

If you are willing to do a bit of walking you could even get to a city bus stop from where it drops off, which you should be able to take to Green Forest with 1 transfer at the Ventura Mall. (tell the driver you want to get to "Buena High School" cause that's right across the street.)

I live in San Luis Obispo California and I could use a ride! If not I will totally end up hitch hiking. If you are driving near SLO I will get a ride to a highway that you are passing by on!

Do I need to know anything about the area before I book? Like is that Motel 6 in a bad place, or is it really not that bad?

I personally don't think it's in a bad area of Ventura, but it IS a Motel 6, so no promises on safety ever.

went through hot deals for a 48$ a night hotel for 1 queen size bed its 49$ for 2 queens big money upgrade lol
