Though the usual kill the least inactive idiot always seems to be a good idea, one of them is usually mafia anyways.
As for a final note, I am always up for killing the Cobbler. It is my soul purpose of entering these games. He was a goon last game so I support this accusation! Once I am finished with the GF citi.zen BC is next. ( BM, I have a vote on citi.zen but I haven't been listed in any of the vote counts recently, just wanted to point that out. I will be casting a real vote later but just in case don't want to be modkilled. ) As for plans, the last game I was in was a custom cult setup so it was easier to try and think of ways to try and break the game. This game is closer to a standard setup so it seems like there is no perfect plan. That being said the simple plans that I could see would be to setup a pattern for DTs to investigate so there is no overlap. Something like start from your location and go down the list, if you find the other DT then start going up for your position so we get the most coverage. The down to this is that most likely the DTs would do better using their own scum judgment to hunt despite the possibility to overlap. There are other useful plans, but as I stated earlier a lot of plans hinge on the town having some open roles, and until the bomber is dead we really have no way of protecting claimants. We need to get him first and then a lot of different plans will be open to us. PMs are in this game, but I am unfamiliar with how they should be used. should I be messaging most people and trying feel them out, wait until I have a good feeling about their role and then contact them, or just wait for something like a DT to contact me. How should we be working the PMs? I like your "down the list" idea

Ignoring vigi/hatter kills and vet/medic protections and double lynch,
Worst case scenario for town is 6 days at 3 town members/day at which point 18 townies are dead and numbers are equal. However given mafia vote swinging and town inactivity/stupidity, 5 missed lynches is probably our cutoff point for certain death.
I haven't taken the time to do precise math, but it seems to me that blue roles in our setup slightly favor town, however if i'm reading the rules right the mafia have 2kp until they get down to 3 members, which is nice for them.
DT's can day 1 check if they want, though i dunno if this is a really great idea since it would mostly be a blind rolecheck. But i also don't want to say 'don't do it all.' DT's should not go down the list for their rolechecks though. This is a dumb idea and we simply don't have the luxury of time. I think DT should use his analysis and intuition to check suspicious players, like normal.

This is a very strage post? Explain yourself. If you are town then why would you spread confusion like this? Also so everyone notice this since I didnt until now.

Agree with this. Also I don't think we have to bother to make sure the DTs don't overlap at least not now in the beginning. -There are only 2 DTs so the chance are little they will check the same person.

The game of Mafia has begun, and its time we get it going properly.
Some decent idea's have been laid out and we can consider them viable.
We have a few basics to remember in a setup like this. Trust no one. For all of the newer players. Stay out of PM land. If by god you go there, please only do so after the person your talking to has been confirmed. The chances for a minor slip up is enough to get you sniped if your blue, or give out information that you may have if you have it.
Secondly, we should set up potential lists of people to watch out for until they can be confirmed. I would start with
BloodyC0bbler Foolishness DTA YoungMirii Citizen
I believe us 5 should be under the most scrutiny at the beginning of this game. Next we need medics to protect intelligently. Protect people you think will get hit. Analyze what people are saying then think if its something that would warrant mafia hitting them. IF so, put them on a list. Do this a few times and you have yourself a medic list to protect off of.
Next, day 1 lynch we have a few options a) vote for the most inactive player b) Vote for someone to RNG a player then vote on them c) Vote for someone whos scummy (bad idea)
Now, with that all said and done, Lets get this party started.

It's okay. I don't mind being looked at. I love attention

INCOGNITO IS NOT IN THIS GAME. YOU MUST VOTE OR ABSTAIN, OR BE MODKILLED. DAY ENDS IN 28 1/2 hours

I personally think divinek is mafia. Because he sucks. Oh my god he sucks.
##Vote Divinek
|
I think voting inactives at the start to be among the better options. While it seems reasonable that people who get mafia go omg cool role, and want to post, some of them may want to lurk cause they think that's a good way to avoid attention or something.
So the only way to get substance out of these people is to call them out and pressure vote them.

bum so sad i got him band wagon killed in the last game

Vote count:
1] Amber[LighT] (jayme), 1] d3_crescentia (darthThienAn), 1] DarthThienAn (d3_crescentia) 1] Pyrruloxia (youngminii) 1] citi.zen (rastaban) 1] chaoser (~opz~) 1] Divinek (bumatlarge) 1] abstain (BloodyC0bbler)
not voting and in risk of modkill: everyone else
I have been asked a question regarding Veteran lives in relation to night action. If the veteran takes a bomb from a hatter somehow, he will lose one life. If he gets suicide bombed, he will die.

I'm not entirely sure on the inactive thing, if there is someone who doesn't post whatsoever they are dead anyway, and it encourages people to spam simply to not be case as inactive. Depends how things work out, if there is someone who at the end of day 1 has only posted one thing that is about as useful as typing "lol mafia!" then I'd agree but it depends on circumstance.
This only really applies for the first day, after that lynching for inactivity if there is not a more obvious choice seems like a universally very good idea, but I'm surprised more people arn't considering the idea of using a RNG to decide our first kill.
And OpZ just lol @ immediately claiming 3 people seemingly randomly as mafia.
