There are plenty of job opportunities, homes, and places you could go. It's also pretty safe, with the exception of several infamous cities :/ The way I see it, its near impossible to be able to move to the US without marrying someone more or less.

Or do you mean marry someone before moving? It's natural we all get married at some point in our lives, so why not just move to the states, settle down, find someone, and get married? :D

I live here, so I'm probably just taking everything for granted and being ignorant of my country's system because that's how stupid the average American seems to be.

If you can live for the next five years by spending the least amount of money that you can and learning some good practical skills at the same time, go to a halfway decent third world country instead. You'd be rich, well-respected *simply because you're freakin white* and with what you know, you can embed yourself in the upper-class, easy.

There is little difficulty in moving to Singapore, due to the highly efficient bureaucracy (immigrations). Singapore is always trying to attract "foreign talent", so if you have good credentials it's a guaranteed work permit. There is a (relatively) large group of expatriates in Singapore making the transition easier. However, I don't think its a good idea to move away from your home country just because you think that your country sucks. Like they say, "the grass is greener on the other side". Every country has its problems, and our home country is no different. Personally, the culture and feeling of home in my own country is enough to make up for many deficits of it.
