Feature request: Include a win-ratio of each match-up that can work when the replays are spread across multiple folders (it would have to use some parameter to identify user(s) so it doesn't use spectator replays as well and have miscellaneous data/statistics).
There is a similar program in this thread: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=131115
However, it does not appear to work across multiple folders of replays, also Sc2gears is just way easier to use.
The search features are so fast and good in Sc2gears, thanks!

Bug report: I tried to click the "watch replay" button from inside SC2gears, and SC2 kept loading and closing and loading and closing - it took me a couple of minutes before I managed to ctrl alt delete the sc2.exe in time -.-

Sc2gears just starts Sc2 and passes the replay, it does not hack into it. It will work once a new patch is out and the beta servers will go online again.

May I request another title change to: "Sc2gears 1.30: Multi-replay analysis"?

This is sick-nasty-go-coconuts, great work!

Is the map-download function not working due to off-line SC2 servers? Or related to the program itself?

It's Battle.net server related problem. Sc2gears downloads maps from Blizzard servers.

I just wish the unit production tab didn't say I build 5 queens 2 minutes into the game I know its probably not fixable as the rep only records key pressed and not units actually afforded.
|
Most replays I have crash. I have been playing since mid-april and the only replays I have gotten to work (both with Sc2 replays and SC2) have been replays I actually saved in game, not the auto saves. Any suggestions?
Props to the creator of the replay analyzer. Great software.
Edit, it seems I can only run version 16 replays. Is this normal ? Thanks

Very nice tool, good work! 2v2 match-up records soon??

Multi replay made my day. Thanks.

Dude, this is amazing. I'm no pro so I probably won't be using this much but the amount of data you can get from this is mind blasting!
|
I've tried the mapview and had to manually download the map-files because the servers are down. I've put the downloaded map files into the folder specified in SC2gears, but it still tells me it can't find the map. Can anyone give me a hint where I could have blundered?

Open the replay, and on the game info tab check what is the name of the map file.
I see 2 possible problems: -you downloaded the map, but it does not have the name Sc2 and Sc2gears are looking for (the map name file has to be the hex hash value of its content, and it has to be in a specific subfolder inside the map folder) -even maps with the same name have different versions, you have to have exactly the same version the replay was played on
Post the name of the map here, and if we have the map, we can give it to you.
Once the servers go online again, this won't be a problem, you'll be able to download maps with Sc2gears with a single click.

I guess problem 1 would be the case. I've got the maps in plain text, so they have to be the wrong ones. I've also found hash value maps in various folders, but they are all "empty" when opening them with the galaxy editor. So I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance! And the obligatory thanks for providing us with this tool.
Maps would be: Incineration Zone Desert Oasis Lost Temple Kulas Ravine Metalopolis Blistering Sand Scrap Station Steppes of War

I uploaded a map pack of Beta phase 1. It's not complete, but it should work for most (if not for all) of your replays.
Download it, and extract it into your Sc2 maps folder. It's a big file as it contains 29 maps (different versions of differnet, official maps). Once you extracted them into your Sc2 maps folder, you should be able to use the Map view chart.

Just playing around with it looks like a really nifty tool. Maybe I'll add some suggestions later
|
Suggestions: In replay-analysis -> Diagrams -> Building/Technology. I find myself wanting to check the time difference between two events. For example, my Gateway vs his Pool in PvZ. A klick and ctrl-klick on events or on the time line could calculate this and display it. This would be allot more user friendly than manually calculating the time between to events.
The time-line is a bit arbitrary too, showing time at fixed intervals provide for better overview and understanding. Every 30s would be good ( or customizable).
