Looks god, but first expansions looks very easy to take, and ramp seems very small there, so people can just build at expo ramp and FE?

One of the first user made maps I've seen that I haven't had any major complaints with. Looks pretty solid so far, and definitely playable. Good job!

Love the map, how it looks and the whole abandoned theme of it. As a zerg player it reminds me of metalopolis, the whole friendly half crescent naturals expand thing. But I think that the gold expansions seem too easy to obtain and hold. There's only one choke point, and it can be reinforced quickly from your main.

The map is pretty macro oriented with some great cheese/rush opportunities (lol, proxy gateways in the los blockers)

What's wrong with FE? Lots of people already do it on Lost Temple, Blistering Sands, etc.
You make it sound like expansions are a bad thing!

It's a cool map, and it does feel a lot like Metalopolis, but with the gold expos around the exterior instead of in the middle. I think the dynamic of everything around the perimeter will work well as a 2 player map.

The 3rd at the bottom of the map is closer to the natural than the third at the top of the map (hence why mapanalyzer determines the top 3rd to be the gold instead. Besides that minor issue which should be a simple fix, 'tis a nice map.

Just had another quick look around the map and I think that the choke to the gold expansions might be a bit too narrow (it's hard to tell exactly how wide it is just from the screenshots) - especially with that biodome there. At least I think that's what that doodad is called. Might be a good idea to widen that area up a little too.

Unless playtesting proves the current setup to be bad, I'll be leaving it the way it is as I intended the gold to have a narrow choke like that.

Really great map, you definitely realized the concept of my rough sketch and then improved it. Keep up the incredible work, you are directly contributing to the evolution of the game even without the Beta being up.

I've fixed the issue funcmode discovered, as well as another bug (floodlight doodad placed inside a vespene geyser making it unbuildable) Here's version 1.1 (Will update the OP asap)

I'm really liking Redemption. Very high quality, and looks very balanced as well. Your texture work is impressive too. I could learn a thing or two from the way you textured that map. I looked at some of your other maps too. All of them are top notch! Keep up the good work man.
