It's possible that Free could have beaten Leta but there were multiple ways Woongjin could have won. Hite were wise not to send Horang2 again, in any event.

Free is strong against terran opponents, but he lost in his last encounter with Leta, and he is 50-50 against protoss. Horang2 is 70% against protoss. It would have been a gamble to play Free at that point. Statistically Zero was a better choice because he is good against both terran and protoss opponents. He has just been inconsistent as of late. If anything Free should have been played against Leta the first time around, but that would have been the best case scenario really.

Also, Free looked incredibly unimpressive in his match against Canata, so I'm inclined to think he would lose to Leta anyway.

Yoon Yong Tae is NOT pleased. No matter what you think of possible matchups, sending him out at least once would be better than going 5 zergs.

I'd say the fact that they played an all-zerg lineup is more or less irrelevant. Hite were certainly aware of Free and probably played Horang2 in an attempt to snipe him, knowing that Woongjin tend to play Zero in the ace match. It was just a miscalculation to play Hydra when they did. Another one of their zerg players would have pulled it off, in my opinion. Really the last thing anyone would expect is 100% zerg, even from Woongjin.

Too bad it didn't work out for them. Then OZ would switch over to the Jaedong-MoustacheZerg-EyepatchZerg-OZSucksBallsWithoutMeZerg lineup.
