Free is strong against terran opponents, but he lost in his last encounter with Leta, and he is 50-50 against protoss.
Horang2 is 70% against protoss. It would have been a gamble to play Free at that point. Statistically Zero was a better choice because he is good against both terran and protoss opponents. He has just been inconsistent as of late.
If anything Free should have been played against Leta the first time around, but that would have been the best case scenario really. Also, Free looked incredibly unimpressive in his match against Canata, so I'm inclined to think he would lose to Leta anyway. Yeah, maybe. But it would have freed up (lol) Kwanro for the match against Horang2, which he likely would have won. I dunno, Horang2 played pretty well today and he beat Effort straight-up a couple days ago.
With the playoffs on the line, I'm inclined to think that the reason Woongjin sent out Crazy-Hydra over free is that Crazy-Hydra is better than free in in-house matches, which is saddening.

Apparently Wemade only has terrans, and Woongjin only has Zergs.

Horang2 is good enough to pick up some wins obviously but I'm not really ready to say that his PvZ has matured yet. In the past it has been lacklustre. Kwanro's history is much deeper so we know what his strengths are. And we all know how Effort has been playing recently, so...
Man, the silly OP confused me. I had originally written Crazy-Hydra in an earlier post but I changed it because the results section said Hydra. I should have assumed I was right.
Anyway, they surely want to give Crazy-Hydra some TV time. That's fine and all, they just picked a bad time.

Case in point, right now Suny is doing a pretty good job against Effort in their MST match.
+ Show Spoiler +Edit: Effort ultimately won, but it took him 22 minutes, and he basically owes his victory to the fact that one of his mutalisks just barely survived an attack by a group of marines. It killed four or five science vessels after that. Close call.

The OP should say Crazy-Hydra, as I mentioned a couple of posts ago.

I have a feeling that Hite Sparkyz is slowly emerging as another dual-ace team, with Horang2 greatly improving his PvZ (great macro, watch his game against EffOrt as well) and with his top-notch PvP. He just needs to work on his PvT and he'll be a very dependable ace-calibre for Hite. Leta wins 1, Horang2 wins 1 to bring it to the ace match. Protoss hope!
Hope their developing players are able to shape up soon given that they have so much playing time for them to grow as players. And not to forget - congrats to Hite. Beating such a deep team with such inexperienced players is no mean feat.

I should probably point out that the two most inexperienced Hite members who played today lost, and the other player they sent out who could be thought of as inexperienced (Horang2, 65 games) faced the most inexperienced player fielded by Woongjin (Crazy-Hydra, 29 games). Keep in mind that Soulkey has only played 31 televised matches at this point as well. His performance has been pretty stellar.
The other players involved have had hundreds of televised matches, so I guess what we saw was the most experienced player sent by Hite getting the better of the two most experienced players sent by Woongjin. That's nothing to sneeze at, although I'm sure most people would agree that the ace match was disappointing at the very least.

I was comparing the depth of the two teams when I said that, but you're right.

It wasn't really a serious poll. The game was sort of silly.
