Have to go. I hate to disagree, but I felt "Whatever Works" sucked

It's a fairly old movie but if you like planes/and cursed people on the run its a great movie.. Hayao Miyazaki best flick imo but I'm biased cause I grew up watching this movie. \ Princess Mononoke is also a great movie, it's about the rise of man over the gods. I guess you could it a precursor to the earth being turned into a concrete jungle. Also Directed by Hayao Miyazaki!

Pretty interesting and inspirational, probably not as trend setting as K-on! but certainly heart warming (along the lines of Music of the Heart). Apparently award winning in Japan, so I dunno if this is a "hidden gem" According to the wiki entry: "Many of the girls really could not play these instruments[1] , and they did play the performances in the film, after training for only 5 months[2]. To prove this was not movie-magic, a tour was organized after the film with a live CD released shortly after. Finally got around to watching this and thanks for the recommendation! was a great feel good film and reinvigorated my lost love of Jazz. Truely heartwarming.

Mononoke Hime/Princess Mononoke - Some cheesy American voice acting but this movie is BAD ASS, a far cry from the rest of the anime the US was introduced to in the 90's. The theme of the movie is about mankind's desecration of the natural world and the consequences, and includes some typical character archetypes that we all know and love, keeping things familiar. Also, plenty of gratuitous violence! Frailty - Thriller/Horror flick with Bill Paxton; stumbled upon this one in the wee hours of the morning when I couldn't sleep. The ending really blew me away, and makes the events of the movie that much more awesome Shaun of the Dead - Probably the greatest zombie film of all time after the original Romero movie. I thought the idea was stupid but I was soundly shut up by the presentation. It's all about the delivery in this one: Simon Pegg and co. do an amazing job of keeping things fresh and funny in the grim scenario they're in. Also, zombies! yay! One of my favorite movies ever now, and it completely won me over from my original position that I was going to hate it. Silent Hill - THIS IS THE ONLY VIDEO GAME MOVIE EVER THAT DOES NOT SUCK. Actually just as creepy and messed up as the plot of some of the games. Blew me away in terms of quality. That's all I have for now, from personal experiences. And to the people touting Equilibrium.... Why? It's a very typical B-grade sci-fi/action flick. Sure, it's similar to the matrix series in genre but it's totally inferior (compared to the first movie). I was very nonplussed the whole way through. It reminds me of movies like Blade...definitely not that great.

Great acting, great setting, great dialog, great music, great visuals, great movie. Although it might not be for everyone, i would sincerely suggest it to EVERYONE . Uwe Boll is my new heroe, went into this expecting a total shitfest but what do u know, best movie in like 3 years EASY. Forget all the (deserved) Uwe Boll hate, this movie is the nuts.
