So I was searched for the top rated traditionally animated film and saw it on Metacritic sitting at #9 of any type of films overall. Watched it the next day, my mind was blown.

Pretty unique and interesting fight scenes. Very avant garde. Features a scene at a LAN party where you can hear asian kids playing starcraft in the background. They were playing Counterstrike 1.6, not Starcraft. Or maybe they were playing both? But I could've sworn I heard and AWP ;P

![]() Obviously, the name puts a lot of people off, but it's really a very cute movie :3 and funny as well, in a very dry, sarcastic way.

![]() Loved it. Probably because I could relate to it on a lot of levels. The ending was a bit of a cop out but the movie had its moments. My favourite part of the movie was "Francois".

He realised this was his last chance and you could tell that he did not want to fail his mom again. So he did all he could to avoid trouble, which was easier said than done =) A bit off topic but in case you're interested; the book is even better, i.e. in the end of the movie when he beats his step father you don't see anything whereas you can read about the whole thing in the book. + Show Spoiler + I think it's more than that. For anyone that has been in a similar situation where you get into fights regularly like he did, it's not something you want to do. Start fighting, and soon you'll be forced into more fights by the actions of other people. Anyone in this situation just wants to get out, and that's what the movie shows. He doesn't want to fight, but he has to. When he's sent to the new school not only does he know that his family (his mom) has offered up a lot to send him there, but he's afraid of getting into the same situation as he was in at his old school, and he also knows that as soon as you start on that road there's no turning back. That's why he tries to ignore the bullying at first. He's terrified he'll just end up in the same situation as before. He didn't magically turn into a different person - the violence in his past forced him to be someone he didn't want to be.

![]() LES VISITEURS. A GODDAMN WIZARD ACCIDENTALLY SENDS SOME GUYS (A KNIGHT AND AN IDIOT) INTO THE FUTURE. THE FIRST THING THEY DO IS ATTACK A CAR WITH A WARHAMMER. Also, I highly recommend "The Gamers" for anyone who likes Dungeons and Dragons. The second one wasn't so good, though.
