Since both were in on this scandal, it is possible that Luxury could have provided his brother with some inside info, especially since Luxury would be practicing with Flash a lot. Wow, if this is true, that would totally suck. EDIT: Didn't Luxury get recruited by KT after he won vs Flash in the OSL?

Match-fixing is a serious issue in every sport, but making this such a big deal is just lunacy ...

The dude on the left wants to give these players life sentences and was moaning about not being able to punish them more drastically. As if ending their careers and making them play fines is not enough. These pro gamers are mostly kids in their early 20ties with a lot of weight on their shoulders, due to the life of a progamer. And it doesn't look like they are earning that much if they are willing to risk their careers for such small profits. I know nothing about Korean mentality but letting this air on TV doesn't make these casters look very good. Match-fixing is a serious issue in every sport, but making this such a big deal is just lunacy ... I admit it looks slightly silly now, but when the scandal was first confirmed, many people had similar feelings as (or at least could sympathize with) the commentators. I did. Yes, from the gamers' perspectives it made quite a lot of sense to blow off their loyalty to their house, fans etc. for some much wanted/needed dough. But from the perspective of the fanbase and that of the commentators, the potential impact on esports was very scary. I mean it was quite a huge blow to us. If you look back at all the posts about it you can see a great Kubler-Ross model that everyone went through lol.

These guys "work" 10+ hours a day and are put under extreme pressure in front of camera's. If by comparison they would have played poker instead of SC, they probably wouldn't have had to work another day in their life. Even if they would play 10 hours a day while breaking even, they would probably earn more from rakeback alone. These guys are extremely intelligent and discplined. Nonetheless, not a reason to cheat though.

I am wondering in what matches this was. Correct me if i'm wrong but i think he was talking about a game Luxury vs Hwasin on the map New Tornado where Hwasin double-rax proxy rushed Luxury and Luxury's reaction was suspicious.

Yeah this was 1 of the matches. Back then Taekbangleessang don't do it because they were paid very well. The ones who did them are not S class and paid miserable prolly less than 3 grand. Especially Savior drop from big wealth status to being paid peanuts.
