First off thanks for the feedback on my history. It sure helps to see that people are actually reading and responding.
Ok I watch alot of starcraft video's. I have watched more video's this week than I have played. I only have like 40 or so games this week. But I have watched I'm sure at least 100 videos. I know in part 2 I was talking about information overload and attempting to do things I see in these videos, but most of the videos I have been watching are BW videos. I enjoy watching BW video's so much more then those of SC2. I dont know why but I love watching BW pros dukeing it out. I think this is because I never saw Pro BW videos until I joined TL. But man have I watched tons of videos.
Also I have been thinking about getting a coach for SC2, from what I have seen the rates aren't too bad. Keep in mind I got a poker coach, and it did pay dividends for my game. I still play poker online and I am not going to say I am a pro poker player but I do ok and I when I need a few extra bucks I can cash it out, I dont play enough that if I lost my disability benifits I could live off of it, nor do I think I am good enough to do it. But being able to take a few hundred dollars out every few months doesn't hurt. Sorry I went off tangent, but I do see the benifits of hireing a coach. I have done some research and looked at the gosucoaching, and I would most likely get a coach from there. But I am open to other people giveing me suggestions if there are other coaches out there.
The last thing I have been thinking about is swiching my main race up, since I have reached my first goal and the beta is comeing to a end. I see myself being able to put the work in eventually to get good at another race. Now don't get me wrong I very much enjoy playing protoss. I just want to see if maybe there is a better race out there that fits my playstyle better. I know I have said I do rushes alot with protoss, but I style myself more of a macro player. The only problem I have noticed with myself is I have been loseing against terran when we play a macro game. I know for the most part terran players have been loseing to protoss atleast what I have read in the forums. Anyway just some things I have been thinking about.

I spelled random wrong... /sigh. Yeah I was actually looking at LZ in perticular. And compared to poker coaching thier prices are amazing of course the differnce is one's potental monatary gain vs the other is no contest. But I still want to become good at this game.

mmmmm I would personally suggest against paying for coaching. You really don't need to rush to get good at this game. I think with the enthusiasm you've shown so far and the amount of time youv'e put in, continue that dedication and you will easily get to a high level. Paying for coaching I think will probably just get you there by about a month or two faster, probably.
Personally I think you should just keep looking up videos with coaching advice, and find people online willing to help you out. Once clans get integrated into Bnet joining one would really help you out too.

I am afraid that once clans come out I will not be good enought o get into a good/above adverage clan.

I'm no expert but I feel like you will get the most out of your coaching time if you wait until you feel you have run out of things you can improve on your own, or are confused about how to move forward, or feel you have hit a wall.
I mean, I'm sure it could help at any time, but at least for me, right now there are so many holes in my game that I am aware of and working on myself that while I am open to the idea of purchasing coaching at some point, I don't feel it would be all that useful right now. I am also playing random now, which I'm sure is holding me back a lot, and probably wouldn't get coaching until I have picked a race.

Really I can understand that is true up to a point, but the way I see it is a coach can tell you which part of your mistakes can be remedied the fastest and which you need to work on more than otheres. I would also stay with the coach for a fairly long term, to my point of vew this show the coach that you are willing to learn and they see that you are improveing. This way who knows they may invite you into thier guild if you show enough improvement,

I'd highly recommend gettin the coaching, I dont know about Lz/Machine, but incontrol is a simply amazing teacher, raised my PvZ a rank above my other two MUs in BW after 2 hours of coaching.

I see. Well, I think if you are planning on doing coaching long term, then you are right, you may as well start right away. I also think you are correct to identify the most important part of coaching as choosing which skills are the most important to fix *right now*. A big part of teaching is seeing someone who does 50 things wrong and knowing which problems to focus on and which to ignore, at least in the beginning. Often our own perception of the relative severity our mistakes is mistaken. One perfect example would be the threads occasionally made here by beginners asking for strategy help when they are floating 1500 minerals off one base . . .

I just sent a email to LZ =)

Its been a week now and still no response from LZ so I contacted incontrol.
