Go on and hype up a game that failed to deliver, so every single game developer points at it and says "BUT IT WORKED FOR BLIZZARD" when they remove chatting and clans but implement Twitter for all your social needs. Good plan.

I think that your post is similar to the arguments for the bailout. I also think that you are wrong in saying that boycotting SC2 is analogous to denying e-Sports.

Blizzard is making Battle.net 2.0 segregated, which is killing the e-Sport scene. Blizzard is not allowing LAN in SC2, which is killing the e-Sports scene. Blizzard is not listening to its community, not allowing the e-Sports scene to thrive. Blizzard is terminating the OSL, MSL, and Proleague... the major SC1 events that gains the most views. Doesn't seem like Blizzard really cares about e-Sports. Honestly... nobody at Blizzard back in 2000s ever expected Broodwar to become such a great hit. Nobody expected the Koreans to take this game to such high levels. It just happened and Blizzard took credit for creating an awesome game.

if by programmers you mean progamers, well, Blizz isnt too concered about them, any possible feature that helps making tournaments easier is either missing or removed, such as LAN, IDs, clans, tournaments, ladder ranking, + you got the KESPA thing, now i do not want to make it look like it's their fault entirely, but the fact is active progamers do not play the game yet because of that. plus the game is coming out in 3 parts, this does not help its competitiveness at all, it means it will have major changes in relatively short time, and a lot of money for them ofc Im really dissapointed with the way this game is developing
