Im really sad about go.go, he didnt seem the type.
Savior... .... I'm so distraught that he's tarnished all those amazing moments in the past, surely he had a legacy to protect? Imagine all those amazing VODs that will never be aired again.
Now that I think about it, there was always something ruthless about savior, he was bonjwa for his skill but not in the way he respected and loved esports itself like Boxer. Even during group selections you could sense that it was all a bit of a joke to him. You never saw any other tournament winners spending money on yuppie accessories.

I guess it's obvious what's happened here. Bart Simpson has somehow managed to sneak his bedroom into my house.

Yeah, our foolish Buck Terran.. how could you do such thing T-T
Though, I somehow knew already and constantly f5ing his minihompi, awaiting for what he has to say about this matter... he just couldn't resist the temptation...
We know, go.go, we know... still sad though..

Such a shame

Noooooo Bisu!!! Kim isn't a common last name in Korea, right?
But seriously, how "confirmed" are the netizen's suspect list? I mean it's confirmed there is a scandal but I'm curious as to each player specifically. kim is THE most popular last name in korea
Kim, Lee, and Park account for something like half the korean population.

I believe Savior should still be thanked for all the good he did, back when he was the mover of many people's dreams and hopes- just as he should justly be damned for all the harm he's done with the match-fixing scandal.
He may have broken your heart, but he is a man, not a monster. If I had been his fan, I would wish him punishment in the form of justice for his crimes, but I would also wish for him to draw the correct lessons from this experience, and the best of luck in his future endeavors.
The above is from Zato.
I agree insofar as he is a man, not a monster. As I said earlier, there are far, far worse people than him much more deserving of the lynch-mob mentality some people here are exhibiting. But I think you go to far when you say we should wish him good luck in his future endeavors. Thats pushing the zen thing a little far. If someone who was emotionally affected by this CAN do that, I applaud their (and your) maturity but while he may not deserve the almost-death-threats he's getting, I certainly don't think he deserves sympathy.

I'm not that bothered by this because it happens in all professional sports, and because my favorite players (besides maybe Movie?) aren't involved.
Still, the lone non-Terran bonjwa going down like this is

gogo confessed? Oh wow, this is crazy.
Anyone want to translate gogo's statement please? ^^
|
There's not much for translating. Basically, he says, that he just couldn't resist the temptation and what he did is a foolish act. Then he apologizes to his fans, for making them suffer because of him, then apologizes to his team and coaches, then his parents and in the end everyone in e-sports. He says how he sorry once again, and that's it.
grrr: typing errors >.<

He didn't elaborate. Just very sorry, very sorry to all the fans who believed in him, sorry to his coaches and teammates, sorry to all involved in e-sports. He repeated the words "sorry" several times.

Edit: oops, got beaten to it.
Anyway, Korean fans are largely forgiving of go.go. Many left messages like "fighting", "I'm still your fan" on his cyworld.

Hatred and resentment destroy the soul. At some point you have to let go, and it should be sooner rather than later. This does not absolve those involved from their crimes however.

Dude, don't disown a whole team because of one player. It was the CJ coach himself who reported this to begin with!

Savior is my favourite because of how amazingly he played and this doesn't change any of the games he won. Maybe he's a bad person but his games can still be appreciated!

.selling out your own osl is one thing ,, but selling out your teamates is another , . ...he is selling his teammates replays making it harder for them to make money the honest way , for what so he can make more money ? , the ,money he made throwing matches was not enough ? , now he has to make it harder for them to make money the honest way ??????
lower than low
...i already said i never was a savior fan . i have absolutely no hate for that bum i would not waste emotion on the likes of him but , remind me never to be in any kind of endeavor with you that i relies on any form of ethics or trust if this is how you think about betraying your friends ,, to me friends are family.. i choose them carefully and i treat as i would want to be treated
he betrayed his teammates ,, you are one selfish person , if you excuse behavior like this becuase you liked watching him play , and he gave you a star-craft woody
when i said get a rope , i meant if i was his teammate and he did that to me .( i was in character as a teammate) , sure i would want to kick his ass big time , if i caught him selling my replays .. and that caused me to miss out on extra cash i could earn the honest way ,........ then yeah time for a blanket party
edit i did not realize he qs getting death threats ... but then a lot of poeple probably lost a lot of money betting on those games he threw so i would not doubt it
also you are right this does not take away the amazing games he played and his contribution to star-craft strategy; but , there is a flip side to that coin ... his previous accomplishments should not take away from the present situation ,, if anything he should be held to a higher standard as a former role model of the sport

Wow....
With the way this is going, I'm going to have to change my Sparkyz tag. This is so sad...they dynamic with Leta/Yarnc/go.go/T-Bizzle was made my love them in the first place, and now they're down to Leta and occasionally Horang2(don't really like Hogil).
