this is probably going to get out of hand, but..
i did. i said something about it. because the "git'er'done" connotation behind "All I will have to say is that if you won't stand behind our soldiers, then fell[sic] free to stand in front of them" is clear to me and indicative of a troubling rationale.

Welcome to TL!
I don't see why girls have to explain themselves when joining a gaming site Though I do understand why they feel as if they have to.

Its just every time I go to a sight and I talk about how I am a geek, people always assume that I am a fat ugly chick because normal looking girls can't possibly like sports and video games. So, when I say that just to prove I'm not a fat ugly chick, I was just merely stating that there are normal chicks who aren't socially awkward that like sports and video games and geek stuff. I wasn't trying to come off as an asshole. I'm sorry if it came out that way. Calling yourself a chick is kind of :/ Anyway, welcome fellow female. Also why does it matter if you're fat/ugly. I'm chubby and not particularly visually appealing (and I am a pretty devoted survival horror/RPG gamer.) and I get on just fine here. Having to post a photo just to 'prove' you're not either of these things is also pretty lame and doesn't give me the best impression of you. You sound like you don't accept overweight or unattractive people as being allowed to also be gamers/being decent people. I 'get' your reasoning when you explain it, but it still comes off as kind of snobby. The whole blog reads like an advert even though you have a boyfriend already o.O Strange.
I'll be honest and say it doesn't matter what you look like your fine by me. NeverGG is a great example, shes a good poster and that's what matters

Hello and welcome to TL!
Any person watching Futurama is super cool and interesting in my book
As for what Neggy said, I'm really handsome and attractive, but I suck at computer games, yet I get on just fine here as well
Edit: I think TL should merge with a Sims 2 community site to recruit some more girls

The Pentagon said it received 2,923 reports of sexual assault across the military in the 12 months ending Sept. 30 2008. That's about a 9 percent increase over the totals reported the year before, but only a fraction of the crimes presumably being committed.
Congresswoman Jane Harman, a congressional critic of the military's handling of sexual violence, said the statistics show the problem is still rampant.
"While the report shows modest improvement, we're far from Mission Accomplished," the California Democrat said in a statement. "Military women are more likely to be raped by a fellow soldier than killed by enemy fire in Iraq." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/03/17/military-rape-reports-ris_n_176106.html
should i stand infront or behind these soldiers? just something to think about before u go telling people they should blindly "support the troops".
anyway i hope this is the type of site where people can be held accountable for what they write and not one where im the bad guy for ruining the "omg a girl" party.

You must be thinking of the other site, scsuperbestfriends.com.

I'm sorry if that comment rubbed you the wrong way Merton. It was something my Granddad said a lot. He thought that people who always talked bad about soldiers and the Army didn't really understand what was going on. That they should think a little more about it. I do know that there are people who don't deserve to have any respect show to them. I only wanted people not to talk bad about the Military around me because my brothers, uncles, cousins, aunts, Granddad, and boyfriend is in the Military. I felt that the quote was a good one because when people think about that, and what the soldiers have to face, they realize a little more about the job of being in the military.

I'm not sure what forums you have been on but that OP certainly didn't qualify as a long ass post...
Also saying over and over again not to read if you are going to complain gets a bit silly since you won't know if you will like it or not until you read it.
Regardless, you sound like a fun person and welcome.

Thanks lol and the edit was because people were complaining an awefully lot =\

Don't be so apologetic to everybody
Being ruthless and cutthroat will most likely get you further here. Just look at Incontrol.
